[1990-10-27-USWA-Memphis TV] Interview: Bill Dundee / Jamie Dundee promo
Just when I think Dundee has no more awful tights he busts out this sunset tie dye zebra print ensemble. Clips look good and they pixel Jaime when he hits a gusher. Bloody night at the MSC. Jaime cuts a great freaking short promo against the Internationals. The Internationals are scrubs but this is totally carried by the face side.

[1990-10-27-USWA-Memphis TV] Eddie Gilbert vs Jeff Jarrett / Interview: Eddie Gilbert
Jarrett has hit another gusher. Sam Lowe gets pushed aside and Frank Morell is not too bothered to break them up. Shockingly the heat doesn't seem good for this because the action is fierce. Gilbert cuts ones of the best promos in a year of great promos. The studio crowd helps this out by barking at him. Loving this feud and all the individuals involved.

[1990-10-27-WWF-Superstars] Update: Rick Rude suspended indefinitely!
cheap way to write Rude off. We also havent had too many Tunney appearances so far this year.

[1990-10-27-WWF-Superstars] Brother Love: Jake Roberts & Rick Martel
This has really became the hottest WWF angle and it has played out perfectly. Is amazing how much of thin line they flirted with for this to go straight to cartoony but so far so good.

[1990-10-26-EMLL] Atlantis vs Kung Fu
I thought the action looked good and most stuff will look bad compared to the previous three matches. Having a day apart between watching those and this helped. This is my lucha novice coming out but is it typical for the Technico to be so aggressive in apuesta matches? I have seen lucha brawls where the technico is forced to strike but here Atlantis was the aggressor with punches, mask ripping, and slamming Kung Fu off the apron. I never get sick of unmasking ceremonies.

Where the Big Boys Play #34
Disgraceful how much Flair vs. Steamboat flopped at the box office. I would never call it a blood feud along the lines of what Flair/Funk will do later in the year but damn they really lay into each other in these matches and their is a lot less sportsmanlike aspects than I remembered watching these first two matches.

[1990-10-26-EMLL] El Dandy vs El Satanico
Fuck me another great match that I liked even better than the UWF stuff. This is my #3 match so far this year. If you ever want to see a match that weaves vicious brawling with beautful wrestling and even includes a few comedy moments (the low blow fakeout to end the first caida), this is it. Dandy was really great here as he has been all year. Satanico was amazing and is shooting up my WOTY rankings along with Fujiwara. Majestic string of matches and all are different.

Jerry Lawler
Just watched the Lawler/Dr. Linder vs. Dundee/Dr. McCarver match from 2011. I love this match so much. Straight schtick but its masterful how they work with the lawler's and the ladies taping were having the time of their lives. If its possible to yank from youtube, I would like to see that match on the set.

2013 Royal Rumble Thread
He certainly was great in the Rumble match. Off the top of my head the only performance of his I would compare to it would be the broken arm SMW match.

A Call For Picks
5/18/94 All Japan Misawa/Kikuchi/Kobashi vs. Hansen/Williams/Ace I continue to tout this match as one of my favorite six mans from 1994 onward in All Japan. It on the surface level seems like a throwaway 6man but when watching you really can see the role that all 6 men will develop from that point forward in the year and in the future. It also didn't make the 1994 yearbook so it will still be fresh to people that bought that set.

[1990-10-25-UWF-Atlantis] Akira Maeda vs Masakatsu Funaki
This was damn great also. Great strikes and more spunkiness from Funaki than I expect knowing his demeanor these days. Maeda did a good job keeping him reigned in.

[1990-10-25-UWF-Atlantis] Nobuhiko Takada vs Yoshiaki Fujiwara
What a match. Fujiwaras expressions were majestic throughout the match. takada for his part had great strikes and more intensity than usual. This is competing with Vader vs. Takada from 94 for me for my favorite shoot style match at this point.

[1990-10-20-USWA-Memphis TV] Interview: Bill & Jamie Dundee
Jaime Dundee has arrived. In a hilarious bit of irony we hear Bill talking about how Jaime will make his own decisions but he warns him to stay away from drugs and alcohol. Should have spoke louder Bill.

Bret Hart vs. Ric Flair
I agree with this paragraph. If Funk in 1994 and beyond is a positive for your case as him as a GOAT, great and I can see that side of the coin. However, it should not be contrasted with him being much better than Flair especially in some of those later years. On the question Loss poses at the end I will say this, I am currently studying for the CPA and have to critically think harder reading this thread than covering any material for my test.
