[1994-11-30-AAA] Rey Misterio Jr vs Juventud Guerrera
Really felt like a coming of age match for both competitors as they had the athletic ability to make everything look great here but also had enough skill to make the match solid and not devolve into a straight spotfest or showcase. Finish is a little annoying but this is one of the best matches of the year and feels like you are seeing the future of the genre.

[1994-11-28-WWF-Raw] Interview: Diesel
Thought this was pretty good promo by Diesel and sort of crazy that in the span of a week he went from a heel bodyguard character to the face champion.

[1994-11-26-SMW-TV] The Gangstas vs Brian Lee & Lance Storm
Decent tv stuff and pretty good Cacuts/ Candido stuff. Cant really get into Storm in SMW and the Gangsters matches have been more miss than hit so far.

Greatest venues
Tough for me to argue against Budokan. It has hosted what I think are the top 3 matches of all time and has been the attraction for a slew of others. You could argue that it has lost a good bit of its luster in recent years with 3,000 people crowds and what not, but it can still arise to the moment and make a title change or match feel special like Morishima/Misawa in 08. #2 would be MSG #3 would be Skydome as a rare venue that always looks great in scope and has featured a hot as hell crowd both times Wrestlemania has been there. Sentimental favorites would include: Omni: Really wish I would have been a little older and could have caught most of the 85-90 shows as when I was old enough to start watching shows there (91-92), the arena in relevance was already on the downswing Georgia Dome: Some hot Nitro crowds and a good crowd for Wrestlemania. ( The Goldberg title win and Undertaker kicking out of the tombstone are still my #1 and #2 moments of live wrestling in my lifetime)

[1994-11-26-WWF-MSG, NY] Diesel vs Bob Backlund
Huge pop for the title change and the era of Diesel begins with him looking like a big star here.

[1994-11-29-WAR] Genichiro Tenryu vs Tatsumi Kitahara
Great stiff wrestling. Loved the flurries by Kitahara being thwarted by Tenryu. Probably Tenryu's best showing since the Onita match.

Where The Big Boys Play #4
Cant believe we talked for two hours on this piece of shit show but maybe Parv's early morning start and my less than sober state helped propel the show.

Drunk Wrestling
Kind of the same way, but coming home drunk and turning on some wrestling while going to sleep is a pretty regular occurrence for me considering the wife just crashes right away when we get home.

Drunk Wrestling
IWA-MS or some good Memphis fits the bill for me.

[1994-11-25-AJPW-Real World Tag League] Mitsuharu Misawa & Kenta Kobashi vs Toshiaki Kawada & Akira Taue
Would only put this ahead of the 1995 Final Tag League match which shows how great the feud is. This was a great match and felt like a good showcase match for Taue which has been a rarity in 1994. He was dominating the attack on Kobashi and took the punishment for his team. Also to see how much more Kawada is protected now that he is triple crown champ.

[1994-11-20-AJW-Big Egg Universe] Dynamite Kansai vs Kyoko Inoue
Kyoko vs. more powerful opponents works so much better for me than here mano a mano like the singles match vs. Toyota. The stretching and mat work here was relatively pointless but featured tight submission work. The nearfall section was worked really well and never felt like Your turn my turn. Sneaky top 100 match contender for me on the year.
