[1994-02-16-AAA-Sin Limite] El Hijo del Santo vs Psicosis
Agreed with all the points made. Psicosis just didn't seem ready to handle the long match portion of this match and seemed like he was killing time to get to the third caida. I thought the third caida was great and the finish worked to build heat. I also found it strange that after the brawling done in the tag, how much of a gentleman Santo was constantly wanting to shake Psicosis hand pre and post match. That seemed odd. Good match but never reached its potential besides the third fall

[1994-02-15-ECW-TV] Interview: Public Enemy
My wife walked in while I was watching it and just shook her head. That about summed up my thoughts on this.

[1994-02-19-WCW-Saturday Night] Vader public workout
Very good promo from Vader and seeing him demolish jobbers is always fun. I also thought Bobby was real good on commentary acknowledging Flair as a legend but how he can't see how he can escape Vader in the cage. Tony had a great line about Flair putting up his career at Starrcade and in this match he is putting up his life. Vader looked like a monster.

[1994-02-05-ECW-The Night The Line Was Crossed] Shane Douglas vs Terry Funk vs Sabu
Yeah this was brutally bad and really shows that it was called completely on the fly and they didn't have much of a plan beyond were going 60. I also thought the crowd was really dead and at the end it felt like one of those pity appluauses given at your child's community play production.

[1994-02-05-SMW-TV] Rock & Roll Express vs Heavenly Bodies
This match was ok but the booking didn't make much sens to me with the Rock N Rolls hitting both members of the Bodies and semmingly getting their revenge before the big showdown on Sunday Bloody Sunday. I thought Dutch went a little too far inside with the Keller/Meltzer stuff. Mentioning them as jabronis would be funny because if you know who they are, you can chuckle and if it don't it doesn't effect it, but him constantly talking about them 5 minutes into the match seemed a little much and I also have no idea what the Lousiana credit card thing was about.

[1994-02-05-SMW-TV] Music Video: Brian Lee & Tammy Fytch
This was a really good video showcase. I love the clips of Tammy doing a little dance with the belt, and also her slapping Smothers leading to Lee/Smothers getting into a fight.

[1994-02-05-SMW-TV] Interview: Dory & Terry Funk
Seemed like a rehash of the previous promo but we got more Dory this time. Good promo hyping up the match.

Least favorite promo by Owen so far but still very well done and he knew how to play this role well.

[1994-02-04-Michinoku Pro] Great Sasuke & Sato & Shiryu vs Super Delphin & Jinsei Shinzaki & Gran Naniwa
Super Delfin is someone who I had never hated but also never really paid much attention to. He was fabolous in this match. I don't know how knew the arm wringer and row boat spots were at this time but both were done well especially the arm wringer. I liked how the first pairings of the match showcased the different styles with Sato/Delfin being athletic, Shiryu/Naniwa working the mat and mixing in some comedy, and Jinsei/Sasuke having the superstar pairing. The 25 minutes really fllew by here as they came up with enough interesting stuff to sustain the attention span. Saving the dive train to the end was nice also as it felt built up to that moment.

[1994-01-29-AJPW-New Year's Giant Series] Mitsuharu Misawa & Kenta Kobashi & Giant Baba vs Toshiaki Kawada & Akira Taue & Masa Fuchi
5 stars for this is a bigger head scratcher to me than Davey/Elgin since that involves two things we know Dave enjoys (moves/nearfalls and trying to make a star within a match). This seemed like business as usual. Kawada has a great tombstone and I love when he mixes it in. Nice to see Kobashi on a roll.

General thoughts about 1994
This is my first yearbook but I thought January was a sneaky great month of matches since going in the only matches I recalled getting much play were Hotta/Aja, Quebecs/Harts, and Steiners/Harts. The 1-2-3/Janetty tags were at the least very fun and with only 4 matches so far, I am greatly intrigued in the joshi especially considering I have looked ahead and know what you think Loss of the Queendom tag.
