[1996-02-17-ECW-Cyberslam] 2 Cold Scorpio vs Sabu
To this day, this match holds up as one of the best matches I've seen in person. You can even see me at the point where Sabu obliterates the table in the crowd haha. I'm standing right behind it, kind of scared for my life

[1996-02-17-ECW-Cyberslam] Interview: Brian Pillman
I was there at the Arena live for this. It was the first time I had been to an ECW show and it was quite a crazy weekend. The show the night before got snowed out and everyone, including the wrestlers, just hung out at the hotel and drank. A lot. There was a Q&A with Heyman and a lot of the roster the day of this show and there were murmurs of Pillman possibly being there but they were either ignored or just shot down. The lights off and him appearing in the ring was a really cool "fan" moment.

[1996-01-29-WWF-Raw] Mankind vignette
I remember at first being both excited and then disappointed in the initial Mankind character. That was VERY brief, though. Like Loss said, it was a real thrill when these started popping up on TV. Once the Mankind character got going and went right into feuding with (and beating!) The Undertaker, it wasn't that big of a deal. It was VERY cool though when Cactus reappeared at that MSG RAW.

[1996-01-23-WCW-Clash of the Champions XXXII] Sting, Lex Luger and the Road Warriors
I haven't watched this yet but I do remember a Luger/Sting interview from this time period where Luger makes the challenge to the Road Warriors for a Chicago Street Fight. Sting is incredulous and asks him if he knew what he just got them into. Luger: "What? I'm from Chicago, too!" Sting: "You're from the suburbs Lex!!" Is that promo on here?

[1996-01-15-WWF-Raw] Razor Ramon and Goldust
I really loved this. I remember when it happened in 1996 and it was such a departure for the WWF. A much more "hardcore" brawl than they had shown in quite a long time (if ever)

Vince Russo: the first man to make men in tights appealing.
Yeah you would figure he'd be all over a story like Lot and his daughters.

The Jim Ross Is A Grouchy Hateful Vile Human Being thread
Thank you! This drives me nuts. She may not be a professional politician now but she is sure as hell campaigning to be one. Ross is always quick to call stuff "stupid" even though the thing is commenting on is a very logical possibility. He kind of evades the premise he brought up. No one is saying Linda McMahon has anything to do with the creative product. When he was in the front office, Linda wasn't running for senate. God forbid someone thinks Mr. McMahon has to acquiesce to anyone.

RAW tonight
That sounds better than Striker's opening on Tuesday night. He almost sunk the whole angle all by himself...Bombastic?!?

Austin Idol "Stardust is really foot powder" promo
Thanks Mike! Yeah I was almost positive it was on the discs I made for you but I can't find it. If you locate it, please let me know. I'm with you, I love his Georgia stuff and I also think the Freebirds were at their best in Georgia during this time as well. Yes they made more of a splash and more money in Dallas, but in Georgia I think they had their best run creatively. Keep me posted on the promo!

Austin Idol "Stardust is really foot powder" promo
I've been trying to find this great Austin Idol promo where he has a bag of baby powder and he's running down Dusty Rhodes, saying that Stardust is really nothing more than foot powder. It's from Georgia Championship Wrestling and I was almost positive it was on those Macchia Comps. I went through the ones I have up to 08/80 and it's not there. He was definitely a heel at the time and I think he turns face in Georgia around april/may. I seem to remember it in front of the blue background and it was Idol with his old interviewing style cadence. Does anyone remember this promo? If so, any idea when it was? Might make the search easier...I know I have it unless I just imagined the whole thing!
