Sasha Banks on the main roster
Maybe Meek Mill and Rick Ross doing "I'm a Boss" at Mania but I think that song might be too hard for her.

WWE cut all ties with Hulk Hogan
As a black man, I'm not surprised but disappointed in Hogan for saying those things cause he got me into wrestling as a child. For WWE, getting rid as judge of Tough Enough is the right move coming off them voting off the only black contestant they had. However for WWE to get rid of any reference of him on their site is pretty ridiculous since they still have Michael Hayes and oh yeah ... the guy who runs the company who like black stereotypes. And that's what most people are making fun of the WWE and Hogan in general. There wasn't a social campaign to get Hogan out of WWE like when that woman on Twitter who was sending racist tweets who traveled to Africa last year that was representing a PR firm. Just comedy cause how racist WWE has been for years now.

Sasha Banks on the main roster
I am a big fan of Sasha Banks and when I think of her on the main roster, her potential can go in two ways. In terms of her wrestling wise, she might be the best women's wrestler WWE has had and I'm not saying it in hyperbole. And that is a testament to all of the trainers down in Florida cause she didn't a have a big buzz of heralded work coming off the Indies. With that, she can a multitude of great matches on the main roster with the Charlotte and Becky and I get the feeling that all 3 of them have a chip on their shoulders. Plus watching that backstage video of Stephanie praising them helps cause they have behind the scenes support. If Vince goes the other way with this and still wants to push Eva Marie and Lana, then Sasha's prime years will definitely be squandered unless like other posters have said, they sign more talent the caliber as her. Now the other way I look at Sasha is that if she doesn't get the opportunities on the main roster to wrestle then I think she still can become a mainstream star. As much as they like Eva Marie, Sasha is the one I can see being on Total Divas in a year or so. She looks like a star and has unique backstory that can open up doors for her in other avenues.

Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Tyler Breeze at NXT Takeover in Brooklyn on 8/22
I legit marked out when I saw this Twitter. It sucks that I can't go to this live cause prior commitments but if anybody told me that Jushin Liger would be in a WWE ring in 2015, I would've driven that person to a mental hospital.

RIP Dusty Rhodes
This is not the news I was expecting when I landed from my plane ride. This just sucks. RIP to The American Dream.

Dave Meltzer stuff
When I subscribed, Bryan had a thing for Alicia Fox so I guess it has carried over to Naomi. From reading the previous posts, the bit sounds out there for B&V standards. But I haven't heard it, so I can't judge if I should get offended or not.

PTBN Reaction Show-BOTSJ Finals
Good show but the guy sitting next to Liger during the final was not Kanemoto. It was Milano Collection AT. He won BOTSJ in 07.

Exile on Badstreet #7 = Underground Kingz
Loved the show, love the title of this individual show and now I'm watching Nick Gage promos on YouTube.

WCW Midcard Circa 1998
But it took Vince from 96 to 98 to get them to that level. WCW could have did something with those same guys in that timeframe along with Goldberg but they didn't. It basically sums up WCW's story in a nutshell since they had Foley and Austin before.

Exile on Badstreet #6 = The Price of Ridiculousness Part 2 (Death of JCP)
That could be a really good show. I've never really read too in depth about the start of AJPW and NJPW spawning from JWA. Also, the deaths of All Japan Women and the UWA in Mexico would be interesting listens.

Elimination Chamber 2015
The show was ok considering that I had problems with the Network on my phone cause I was away from my own place. The Owens/Cena match stood out the most and I don't care that it was a spot fest. It was great cause they made a new guy in the main event scene. I'm not even a Kevin Owens fan (I even used to avoid Steen matches when he was on the Indies) but he was great here. I was so surprised that they did this with him instead Bray Wyatt and Rusev. Everyone is saying that Owens is going to lose for the rest of the year but I don't think so. I hope they go with the Undertaker vs Mankind formula that blew my mind as a kid in 96 where Taker won on house shows but Mankind beat Taker legit on TV. Those kids at the PPV felt the same way I did when Mankind beat Take at KOTR 96.

Kane an Observer Hall of Famer????
Saying Kane is a hall of famer is like saying Horace Grant is a hall of fame basketball player. Reliable big man that was with great players most of his run - yes One of the greats of all time - No

ROH gets Destination America spot
It's entirely possible Joe didn't know about this. Very true. But didn't Joe just get booked for some future ROH shows?
-
Women in the WWE
No, it wasn't. The two promo pics/posters for the recent tour had Owens, Balor, Sasha and Charlotte on one and Owens, Balor, Zayn, Sasha, Charlotte and Bailey on the other.

ROH gets Destination America spot
Unless WWE is scurrying to edit Samoa Joe off the show they are posting today on the Network, they must have known about this in advance when Joe signed the deal. Either that or Joe is a hell of a business man cause he's about to be on national TV with Ring of Honor and global distribution ( WWE Network & Hulu) with NXT.

ROH gets Destination America spot
If this doesn't signal the death of TNA to the TNA hardcores, I don't know what else will.

Women in the WWE
This is true, but I find the criteria Matt is applying in this situation to be pedantic and pointless. It's not judging the work, but judging the work based on potential future work. Bill, I think Matt Farmer is trying to say that the women are handled a lot different on the main roster than what they are in NXT cause of the situation of the television production on Mondays, Tuesdays and PPV Sundays. And he's also right that a lot of the women there at the Performance Center are green. Sasha Banks had only been wrestling for five years with her only experience being with New England Indys and WWE along with Charlotte being trained from the ground up. He's saying that the women have to be in these crazy situations on the main roster of having their match time cut down continuously until most of the stuff they want to do is thrown out by the agent and producers backstage. The women have the extreme short end of the stick but this happens to a lot of male talent there as well. It happened to Daniel Bryan when he got there. It happened to Cesaro and etc. it all depends if Vince and Dunn will give them the time once they get called up. It doesn't matter how talented you are in the entertainment business when you given a bad script or bad direction to showcase something that management wants. They can get no direction and do a kick ass match but get a mouthful from management backstage for it cause it wasn't their view for what the match is. They are petty like that. What gives me personal hope is the match Sasha had with Charlotte on Main Event in January and they had a good match in that 5 or 7 minutes they had. If they can do that on the main roster, they will be fine and they will start turning heads. They have the talent and they are being trusted by the brass of NXT to the point that Sasha is being the last match of the night and is now on most the posters of NXT shows. You could make a case they are positioning Sasha as the ace of NXT with Owens being in this feud with Cena, Zayn and Itami being out due to injury and the weird positioning they are doing with Finn Balor. She is starting to look like one of the main players for them which is a testament to her and her work. I had high hopes for Paige when she got up cause of what I saw in NXT and they gave her time to work with Tamina on Extreme Rules 2014 but the fans reacted like it was any other divas match. I personally liked that match and if you put that same match in NXT at that time in 2014, people would be praising it. The women's matches needs time from the management and management needs to train the audience to pay attention to the divas matches instead going to the bathroom or checking their phones. Plain and simple.

Dr. Keith Presents - Bryan Danielson
Since this popped up on the Observer free show feed, I checked it and you guys did a good job. You guys brought up good memories I have of Bryan when he was ROH.

2015 MOTY contenders
It will be interesting to see how people view it compared to Reigns/Lesnar. I would say that this match is the second best WWE match of the year next to Roman vs Brock. Both were intense, violent matches for today's standards but the context of the uncertainty of Reigns vs Lesnar on the biggest show of the year pushes a little bit more than Sasha vs Becky. (Even though you can make a case about both challengers getting pushes that you think for certain that they were going over the champion) Sasha vs Becky is a solid **** where Brock vs Reigns was looking like the best mania main event ever before the cash in of Rollins. EDIT: I totally forgot about the Royal Rumble Triple Threat and the Reigns vs Bryan match from Fastlane. I guess it's the fourth best match of the year in WWE which still isn't bad. Still a MOTY candidate.

PTBN Payback 2015 Reaction Show w/ Will, Dylan, Kris, Pete & Johnny!
With Ziggler, it was hardway. WWE has videos on their YouTube page of Bryan, Ziggler and Sheamus getting stitches in the back. All three of have those deep cuts that pro fighters get when they get head butted or hit with an elbow. No Brock video though.

WWE Extreme Rules Reaction w/ DylanWaco (STR 79)
The small bit where Jeff and Dylan talked about Luke Harper winning King of the Ring and the vignettes they could shoot made laugh for at least 10 minutes.

Morishima bows out at 36
All 4 guys were positioned as the new four corners of heaven in 2006 when they did that 30 minute draw and all raised their hands at the end of the match. But it was clear that they were slow tracking Morishima to be the man in the future. If he wasn't, Misawa would have not took the belt off Marufuji after one title defense ( I don't count the Nigel defense in terms of drawing in Japan) especially with that one title defense having one of the worst undercards NOAH put out at Budokan Hall. Morishima in ROH was the trial run for him before he got the GHC belt to see how he would be as the number one guy. And Morishima wasn't in NOAH. Part of that Takeshi main event was that Rikio wasn't a guy the fans accepted either.
