  1. This is why TNA is actually a really underrated promotion. Christian's stint in TNA is excellent and he really revels himself as a terrific single's worker and a main-event caliber guy. He was already made-up when he went back to WWECW. Sorry, but again, this is ridiculous. Styles was having MOTYs in 2005 in TNA. He was already being a great worker as early as 2003/04. He was overdelivering despite the shitty booking Russo put him though in term of character. He made the best out of every stupid gimmick he was put in (Elevation X anyone ?).
  2. Well, except this result doesn't really reflect the debates. Most of these N°1 votes come from late voters who didn't even take part in the process at all and who haven't been seen active on the forums before or since. This was one reason the results of the GWE 2016 was so frustrating to some. I don't know Bryan's career enough to compare him (ROH is a massive hole in my viewing, and my distate for what this company brought as far as in-ring style and presnetation goes doens't encourage me to check it out, maybe wrongly so). His highs in the WWE are quite high. The "the 4 Pillars" always worked against each other is irrelevant though. Yes, they did. But there's no way to know if they wouldn't have delivered against Hashimoto, Takada, Mutoh etc… They probably would have too.

Well, I thought I did just that in the Hogan thread, it didn't work. I'm so bad at this kind of stuff.

I still don't know how to embed a video or picture.
  5. Well, like the great French comedian Coluche said in the late 70's, talking about two opposite French politicians : "They have a circus act. One is peeling the onions, the other one is crying." It's like in the WWE, the owners always win in the end, no matter who they book.
  6. Really ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49kFPeItBdg
  7. Well, it's very obvious WWE wouldn't enjoy Bryan going straight to Cody & the Bucks…
  8. Yeah, me too. Daniels had some try outs in the WWF before at this point and he had the "mystical" Fallen Angel gimmick. So... Oh, and Yokozuna is joigning the nWo soon, too.

Ok, thanks. I don't know if it's being mentionned already, but the one true dream feud for the WWE audience right now : Daniel Bryan vs Braun Strowman. Forget everything else. This is the one.

Well, it didn't take long until the guy trolled again. That really was worth it.
  11. Well, don't post in this thread then if that's your opinion. Because this thread is all about Rape Culture in pro-wrestling and talking about instances of it.
  12. El-P replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
Hate to be the cynical one, but yeah. Just that. We'll see how it'll work out. BTW, is Maroon the doctor whom CM Punk having a case against ?
  13. Too bad. It exists. It's everywhere. It's absolutely not unique to "Da Buziness".
  14. El-P replied to Jetlag's topic in Forums Feedback
To be perfectly clear and considering my post earlier, I want to state I did not complain about him nor asked for any ban. My answer just came from the fact that once it had been done, why bother, really, considering the case... I was thinking. Maybe he's Vanes Naldi.
  15. El-P replied to Jetlag's topic in Forums Feedback
No. He was a very poor gimmick poster. And probably a fraud too.

    Well, Vince...
  17. Good !
  18. The current roster is as strong as its been in 10 years or more in terms of actual talent. I would agree with that. (and it would be a sort of backhanded compliment too, actually)
  19. Yeah, Bobby Roode, Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin, Bray Wyatt, Dolph Ziggler, Randy Orton, Gallows & Anderson and plenty more of that boring, mediocre ilk. Not *that* stacked, really. Yeah, you've got 40 year old AJ Styles still one of the best worker in the world, Braun Strowman is really cool, the New Day & Usos being a blast, Sheamus & Cesaro being really fun, so is Rusev but he's not really featured...Nak is not half of what he was in New Japan. Roman Reigns & Brock Lesnar being really boring, unengaging main eventers (don't even argue, I've watched all the supposed "great" Roman stuff in the last few years and I don't see it at all, he bores me to death 95% of the time). There's a reason why I'm more interested in the women on that roster. It's not even a scratch on what the roster was in the early 00's both in term of quality workers and star power...
  20. That's the funniest post in this thread.
  21. How long before he jobs to Roman ?
  22. El-P replied to Grimmas's topic in WWE
The correct position Well, I don't care one bit about football, but yeah, "soccer" doesn't exist. And yeah, it is quite hilarious when you put everything in perspective.
  23. No one posted Yes ! Yes ! Yes ! yet ? Damn.
  24. Agreed. The whole is much better than the sum of the parts. Cody by itself still isn't that interesting. It's the entire act that's really good.
  25. WINNER I don't know. I feel like Jack White would wrestle like it was the 1930's and find anything past that inauthentic. This. Jack White is the Vaudevillains. Except they were actually fun to watch.
