Jerry Lawler in serious condition
I don't agree with most of that article, especially the "interviews with EMTs, wrestlers backstage, eye witnesses..." and the whole camera at the hospital and ambulance thing. Those ideas are way exploitative and disrespectful then running through the motions on a couple matches while Cole gives updates from ringside. I have seen some agree with me in that I didn't want that show to end at all because I wanted the updates and news to keep coming. There was a weird level of comfort up until 11:15 Monday night...knowing we were all watching and waiting for good news...any news.

Jerry Lawler in serious condition
According to a few spots (Insider, Wrestlechat), FOX13 in Memphis is reporting that the first CT scan showed no brain damage for the King.

Jerry Lawler in serious condition
They could do the rotating color commentator gimmick they did a few weeks back for a bit. I am guessing JBL or Foley head in, as has been rumored anyway.

Jerry Lawler in serious condition
He would've been dead if he was anywhere other than Raw or a PPV. Yep, he is damn lucky it happened where it did. Where else outside of a hospital would he have had a full team of EMTs able to rush to his aid and save his life?

Jerry Lawler in serious condition
Where was that posted? WMC hasn't posted that on their site yet. Wrestlechat is where I saw it. I don't trust many sites out there, but they are usually pretty good. I am not usually a "post newz" guy...figured this situation calls for it. http://wrestlechat.net/jerry-lawler-to-und...ery-98-blocked/

"WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler will undergo heart surgery today, according to website of WMC-TV, based out of Memphis. This comes after a catherization performed early this morning showed a severely blocked artery. The artery is 98% blocked." King still fighting!

I am good friends with John Walters (RJ Brewer). He and GMC are buddies, so John set it up. He was great to talk to and gave us a lot of time.

Bruno Lauer Interview
Hey guys...love the board...kill way too many hours on here. We recently conducted an interesting two part interview with Downtown Bruno Lauer a/k/a Harvey Wippleman. He talks about his long career, coming up through the territories, his time in WWF as a manager and his current role backstage in WWE today. He also opened up about the tragic car accident that took the life of Joey Marella in 1994. Bruno was really open and talked about anything we threw his way in a lightning round style at the end. There is a lot of cool territory stuff in there for older fans as well. Hope you enjoy. http://placetobe.podbean.com/2012/08/23/ep...rview-part-one/ http://placetobe.podbean.com/2012/09/06/ep...rview-part-two/ While I am here...Graham Cawthon also joined us back in April, when we conducted a really in depth interview with Gary Michael Cappetta. Again, a lot of good stuff for old school fans in there too. http://placetobe.podbean.com/2012/04/13/ep...chael-cappetta/

Does anyone know the backstory behind the WHC match at WM22? I remember reading that Randy Orton was supposed to win, but he pissed off Vince, so Vince switched it to Rey. I have also read that Angle didn't want to drop the belt to Orton, and agreed to lose to Rey one-on-one. How long before WM was that switch decided on? And is any of this stuff true? Or was Rey set to win it since Eddie's passing?

WWE considering making 24/7 a regular channel
It would have been tough though because they didn't own all the libraries they have now. They didn't really embrace their tape library and start honoring the past until the Flair DVD struck it big in 2003. Your point is a good one, as it would have been huge then, but they just didn't have the goods. I wonder if USA, Sci Fi and MyNetwork would allow them to re-air Raw, SD and ECW later in the week if such a channel happened.
