Is Daniel Bryan Nearing The End Of The Road?
Bryan was pretty open doing media today saying he realizes that no matter what he does Vince will never see him as "the guy" Vince likes him well enough to feature him but not as a top babyface. You can tell he's just come to terms with it. Total acceptance. He doubts he will ever headline another mania (if healthy) He's probably right on that one. Vince always wins in the end, doesn't he?

Your confessions as a wrestling fan
In the summer of 1995 I called the WWF fan hotline and took their trivia quiz. I answered every question correctly and was supposed to win a WWF "fan pack" full of merchandise. When the automated system was about to be transfer to a live operator so I could give my address information I freaked out and hung up thinking my mother would be pissed off for giving out that information I've been watching wrestling since 1986 and have never owned a wrestling T shirt. Not one

PTBN Reaction Show: Battleground 2015
Summerslam 2013 was considered a disappointing number by the company and a big reason Bryan was shifted down the card after HIAC that year. His segments started drawing in early 2014 and his merch started selling big time after they ditched the goat stuff and went with the Che Guevera type stuff I could have sworn this was shot down after the final numbers came in... We weren't factoring in 2012's adjusted numbers at the time

Saw online that Taker is booked for shows post Summerslam. Could see them rematching at the Sept. PPV

WWE TV 7/20 - 7/26
That's a perfectly logical, acceptable complaint though. I thought the segment was great and depressing at the same time

Bray feels like a much bigger star when paired with Harper. Instantly

Another HHH and Steph segment!! Jesus fuck stop this crap!!
-
WWE TV 7/20 - 7/26
That was a fantastic segment but still depressing. No doubt the top stars in the promotion are Taker, Brock, HHH and Steph. All of those are even being pushed over Cena. It's 2015. Depressing as hell

Brock v Taker official for Summerslam "Stephanie McMahon's Diva revolution" Never change WWE. Never change.

WWE Battleground... Tonight
Dave said Taker appearing is all about drawing a Raw rating tomorrow
-
WWE Battleground... Tonight
there is no way Undertaker is going heel here. Basically the whole dynamic is completely fucked up. The fans will still want to cheer Brock
-
WWE Battleground... Tonight
so Rollins v Taker v Brock at Summerslam or just Taker v Brock? Sting is going to be with Roman against Wyatts
-
WWE Battleground... Tonight
Fantastic. Steph looks to be involved in the diva stuff going forward. And I guess she's a heel again. Same old shit
-
WWE Battleground... Tonight
Sasha v Brie v Charlotte has been added to the show

WWE Battleground... Tonight
The Authority storyline has slowly killed all the heat of everyone involved. Hell I've been saying this since January. It's basically laughable they are still continuing on with it

Often forgotten periods of a wrestlers career...
Stephanie and Shane co running RAW in late 2008. Shane just sorta disappears and Steph is GM for a while. No one ever talks about this era. This all eventually led to the Orton legacy storyline and Trump bought the show and then we got actors running the show every week

WWE TV 7/13 - 7/19
Wade Keller kinda alluded to this on twitter and I've seen it a few other places the idea that the "Authority Era" the last 2 years and the constant trolling of the audience and heel domination has finally caught up to the company business wise. I know some of us here were predicting that about a year ago or so. There are obvious holes in the theory but I buy into it to a degree. I think it holds more weight than "all the big stars are gone" and "no one cares about the new guys and girls"

WWE TV 7/13 - 7/19
think they want Rousey to work Mania next year? Steph posts a pic with her from the ESPYs and Vince and Hunter both kiss her ass congratulating her on the awards she won. 105,000 seats that need to be sold out

Bad wrestling
Disco Inferno would have gotten a Frankie Avalon gimmick in mid 90s WWF. Vince nostalgia for his childhood Charles Wright would have been Harlem Heat's tough, grizzled childhood friend who taught them the ways and would be managed by Col Parker to tease trouble with Sherri

Undertaker and Sting to work Summerslam
Thought this deserved its own thread. Confirmed by Dave last night on the radio show. I guess this is Vince's response to the sagging ratings. Can't say this is thrilling news. Going back to the past to patch up the present
