I like that in his preview for the show Meltz is just repeating that every match is just a setup for the Elimination Chamber in 2 weeks. I bet they don't even try to hide that tonight

yeah another bit from the PWI report is they want him to be on TV in some way so they can promote his DVD. That's why he is on TE. I actually think he could be a completely functional announcer but I doubt we see that yet another example of the paradoxical relationship the company has with him. They clearly value him and want him to be featured but just not as a tippy top guy. Still very strange

Hunter and Stephanie being gone has allowed for different acts like New Day, Sheamus, Barrett, Naomi, and hell even Slater to get more mic time and craft some pretty damn entertaining characters. There really is no need for them to hog airtime but its inevitable they will return to status quo when they come back. They should be used as Jack Tunney figures who pop in to make important decisions and then leave

Nice to see Ambrose being the one to be the hero at the end and stand tall as show goes off the air

I like the Naomi and Tamina pairing although saying they are "cousins" (through marriage) is a little weak. Nice to see Ambrose get a main event slot even though it's probably just a one and done. He's most likely there to take the fall. Hope Sami isn't legit injured. Very fun match. New Day are just great This has been one of the best Raws of the year. Maybe the best

New Day are really becoming one of the few reasons to watch. They are clearly building to Kane v Rollins. Kind of hilarious that Reigns and Orton are being used as stepping stones to get to Freaking Kane. Kane has been pretty great on the mic but no way he should be getting this push in 2015

Couple of items from Meltz The company had already started shooting promotional videos for Steph v Rousey before Dana's comments and are not going to give up in trying to convince him to change his mind. Steph was supposed to build to the feud on Jericho's podcast tonight. Vince sees Lana as the "female face" of the company and she is set for a huge babyface push after she is presumably revealed to be American. Although not set in stone (they still might call her Lana) Vince thinks her real name "CJ" will remind people of Pam Anderson's character on Baywatch. Anderson left Baywatch nearly 20 years ago and the show has been off the air for 15. Classic Vince. Eva Marie is set for a huge push and will be a totally different more serious character when she returns. Kendrick has been training her The curb stomp was banned due to advice from the legal department over the concussion stuff

Raw has such a different feel to it without Triple H and Stephanie dominating air time. I'm not saying it's particularly good but the show goes by faster and feels more relaxed. When they come back full time, which I assume will be next week,it's going to be unbearable again

If Cena wins it kills Rusev but even if it's a swerve and Lana is playing Cena and helps Rusev win then they still have to continue the feud, right? There is no way there are going to blow of a feud with Cena looking like an a total imbecile.

so Dana White says that Rousey will not work a match in WWE. He was pretty emphatic. This should get interesting. Unless WWE has gotten Dana in on some sort of work
