Meltz seems to be implying/speculating(?) that wwe has given up the idea of Becky as a heel. I guess she was a total babyface last night.

Oh man everyone is going to hate Charlotte even more now. do they turn this into an angle? maybe I'm not recalling any but this seems to be the first blow up backstage about making people "look bad" in quite awhile. this sorta reminds me of Bret/Shawn more than HHH/Rock

WWE Saudimoney Bloodmania, Saudimania Bloodmoney
While watching a bunch of late 80s/early 90s wcw lately I noticed that Heyman always played more to the cameras ringside than to the crowd. I'm sure a lot of the old school guys didn't like that but it was probably smart long term wise because he was familiarizing himself more with a wider audience

WWE Saudimoney Bloodmania, Saudimania Bloodmoney
They are teasing Brock is going to show up on SD to confront Reigns. Would not surprise me if they do a rematch on free tv

The Undertaker is already in Saudi Arabia as he introduced Pitbull at his concert there yesterday. also talk that Charlotte could be added to the women's title match

The twitter stuff last week about challenging/beating wwe and taking shots at the other company. just find it funny that Bischoff and Booker both blasted TK this week on their shows for doing that but silent about Roman

Also find it kinda funny that some of the same people defending Roman last week for "working" in that interview are mad at Tony Khan doing essentially the same. Apparently only one side is allowed to be "working"

Yeah I saw Heyman's comments. Sure seems like a double turn is coming. I guess that means the Rock match is def. not happening at Mania

It looks like Undertaker will be making an appearance at the blood money show on Thursday

WWE TV 10/11 - 10/17 All Is Not Well in the House of Riddle
Even when Roman finally beat Brock at Summerslam 2018 I don't think it meant as much as wwe thought it would

Dark Side of the Ring
Poor Luna. She was famously included as part of the roster for the original WWF RAW game for SNES. But by the time the game was released she was already gone from the company.

Wwe has cancelled the December TLC ppv this year. Most likely because it's so close to the Jan. 1 "Day One" ppv

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
I was watching a WCCW reunion panel a few months back and One Man Gang said he wasn't sure if Kevin Von Erich knew wrestling was a work or not. He would just start tatering people and would often not cooperate

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
There were times where they tried to make Angle a more serious character but inevitably they would go back to making him goofy. Even the feud with Brock in summer of 03 had a bunch of backstage comedy segments at least until Brock turned heel and aligned with Vince. i can remember Brian Gewirtz saying he (and Vince I guess) couldn't help themselves in booking him in comedy stuff

AEW Dynamite - October 6, 2021
Both Smackdown and Rampage were down quite a bit this week. MLB playoffs are kicking some ass

AEW Dynamite - October 6, 2021
Tuesday's Yankees/Red Sox one game playoff did the highest rating for an ESPN baseball game since 1998. Last night's Cardinals/Dodgers game also did a big number on TBS. AEW and WWE could be in trouble ratings wise for the rest of this month as baseball is all of a sudden red hot.

Everything is going to be fine because wwe hired Ken Doane as a performance center coach

WWE TV 10/04 - 10/10 Who will be Smash's final DLC character?
Kevin Owens has now changed brands in every draft since the brand split returned in 2016.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Roman had the sports hernia in Sept. 2014 and didn't return to late December that year. I assume he would have had Dolph's spot as the sole survivor at the Survivor Series that year. Post Shield break I think Ambrose was more over with the live crowds but Roman was way over as well before the hernia

WWE TV 10/04 - 10/10 Who will be Smash's final DLC character?
RK Bro v Styles and Omos has been announced for Crown Jewel

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Also, today is the 2 year anniversary of WWE debuting on FOX. That show did over 4 million viewers

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Post Shield break up I think Ambrose was the most over for awhile at least. Listen to the reactions he's getting summer 2014. Roman also went down with the sports hernia around that time. also, like always, we wouldn't have had these conversations the last 7 years if wwe simply delayed Bryan's return in early 2015

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
yeah Roman getting title shot after title shot after constantly whiffing made the backlash to him even worse

And I kinda agree with El P that the McMahons are overrated to a degree. Maybe it's because I've never been so down on the product and I'm not looking at it clearly but I find most of their stuff generic heel tropes. They all had their moments (even Linda in 2001) but most of it does not hold up imo
