I know no one really watches Smackdown right now but man was that a weird show. Hunter in the opening bizarrely shooting like crazy with a not so subtle jab at critics for saying he wasn't as a big a star as Rock and Austin. Rowan playing with a Rubik's cube (!) while the rest of team Cena cuts a heartfelt promo about the main event. A Papa Shango reference by JBL that seemed to legitimately get the Usos and the Dusts to break. And then the aforementioned AJ/Bella segment
oh man AJ was great impersonating Nikki Bella especially when she was constantly feeling her boobs and ass. Nikki never stops doing that
yeah with the stip clarified (spoilers had it wrong or didn't report the full segment) I'm back to thinking the Authority wins
on the free figure 4 daily Bryan mentions there was a meeting a few days ago where a change was made to the main event. He said he didn't know what kind of change or even if it involved the finish. Either way the plan with all this is to have an excuse for Vince to appear on TV Monday. Bryan theorizes, like many others have, that there will be a disputed finish and that Hunter and Stephanie will have a shot to win their power back at the TLC PPV.

After tonight and especially with the ending angle I'd be pretty shocked if the Authority don't win on Sunday. Plus with the announcers hammering home how it's the last time we'll see Stephanie and Hunter on Raw you know it's not happening. More likely another heel victory to end a WWE PPV. Hunter and Steph have been in so many segments lately that they are sorta killing the crowds a bit. Neither is really getting the same reactions they did for most of the year. A break for their characters wouldn't hurt but I really don't see it.
I don't remember them turning down the offers though. I mean you know they weren't going to but it was never pointed out.
also what exactly is the stip? Sometimes they say if the Authority loses they are "gone forever" but other times they say they'll just be regular "employees". Which is it?
that was confusing. Is it 6 on 5 now with Cesaro joining the Authority? Orton joins team Cena to even the odds? another confusing bit. Why did Steph try to blackmail Sheamus and Show when Henry and Rusev beat them up anyway? It made the promo pointless 10 minutes later
Harper wins IC title. I actually like this with a mad man with a title. I know they book the IC title like crap but this could be fun

does anyone remember the "big 3" newsboard in around 98/99? I actually got into an e-mail "battle" with one of the posters there which ended with him "resigning" from the board after I bet him RAW would beat Nitro in the ratings. (if RAW won he had to leave the board) . Oh 1999
I had completely forgotten the "slut" stuff started *before* the heel turn. For reasons I cannot remember I didn't watch much WWe TV the last 2 months of 99 ( I'm pretty sure I had some ridiculously huge project for college during this time). We didn't have a UPN affiliate at this point so I couldn't watch SD until sometime in mid 2000
My God Steph and Hunter have been in like 17000 segments the last few weeks. Their characters need some time away or it's like early 2000s all over again in terms of overexposure
