At this point it's clear Owens is the main focus of Smackdown. This entire angle is designed to get him over. Nak, Jinder and even AJ seem like afterthoughts at the moment. I'm sure that will change but you have to give credit, like with Braun,that they are going all in on a guy. Owens has his flaws but he can get stuff over and I think he will here

A lot of current acts in wwe seem to work better in groups or teams than as singles. I swear I remember in summer of 99 wcw running an angle where Kidman had a crush on Kimberly that would lead to him feuding with DDP. But apparently he thought it would hurt his character or something and he begged to have it dropped. And it ended up going nowhere. Was it supposed to be a long term deal? Weird that Kidman was leery about the feud since ddp was pretty giving in putting over younger guys. At least more than the average wcw top guy of the time

So rovert on twitter seemed to be implying today that the plan is Ronda v Steph.
