WCW ongoing thread
WCW sure did like changing their tag titles at a rampant rate. Especially in the early 90s. Hell even into the beginning of the Nitro Era. No one seemed to get more than a few months reign at most. And a good number of house show changes

WWE TV 12/26 - 01/01
Oh and with Reigns pinning Owens clean again I'm changing my pick for Rumble. Owens somehow retains. Still think he gets the belt before Mania though.

Gallagher is becoming my favorite character on the show. He definitely needs more air time. I could see Vince liking him in a Lord Steven Regal type way

Dave Meltzer stuff
the other day Dave said that WWE didn't sign Aja Kong in 1995 because she "scared them to death on Raw" Should I take that as scared of her look or that she worked too stiff and would hurt people. With Vince you could certainly see both. So what was reported at the time?

and now Becky wrestling as La Luchadora under a mask to mess with Alexa. Another win for SD. Great stuff
-
WWE TV 12/19 - 12/25
this will most likely be an unpopular opinion but the storylines in the women's division on SD are much better than on Raw. Yes the Raw feuds feature better in ring and more traditional wrestling stuff but SD is really going for the heat with this Nattie/Carmella/Nikki stuff and Alexa/Becky. Yes it's shooty and total divas type stuff but damn if it isn't captivating and I guess you can add Renee v Maryse to this now. Certainly more shoots coming up here

WWE TV 12/19 - 12/25
Miz shooting on Renee and Dean! Renee slaps him! Damn SD is great

Braun Roman coming up. There's mania

I'm a sucker for the shark cage angle so I liked the opening segment. Sensitivity training was bad

Roadblock: End of the Line
As someone predicted a few weeks back looks like we are getting Owens v Jericho v Rollins v Reigns at the Rumble or even the first Raw of the new year. Reigns is going to win that one
-
Roadblock: End of the Line
Pittsburgh crowds of course have negative reputations of not reacting to anything but then you have Royal .Rumble 2014 that changed wwe history
-
Roadblock: End of the Line
I think Roman will win the title at the Rumble or sometime early next year but not tonight. Have a feeling he'll be defending at mania and not chasing like the last two years

All this Christmas talk is for naught as Foley is missing time because he is undergoing hip replacement surgery according to Meltz
-
WWE TV 12/05 - 12/11
pro wrestling sheet reporting Foley will be taking the rest of the month of from wwe programming to spend the holidays with his family. I guess that Christmas thing with him is not a work wwe is insisting he hasn't been released or suspended. Kind of a weird story since he's in the middle of a storyline with Sami but like I said I think the dude loves Christmas that much
-
WWE TV 12/12-12/18
That segment with Sami was the best thing Foley has done since coming back. By a wide margin. Don't think Sami is winning Sunday but at least they are trying something with him

according to wiki this was Casiello's second run writing for the company as he was a writer from 2011-2014. He was primarily a soap opera writer before getting involved in wrestling

Meltz updated his previous report:

WWE TV 12/05 - 12/11
Meltz: and he says the vice article was accurate. Damn Shane trying to take over creative was a shoot and we didn't know about it for nearly 5 years.
-
WWE TV 12/05 - 12/11
that article almost made me think Hunter and Shane shoot hate each other. I want to see that match now. The sequel to "love her or leave her" from Summerslam 99
-
WWE TV 12/05 - 12/11
sorry if this was posted somewhere else but yeah this is a must read article on the backstage doings in WWE, Unbelievable stuff: https://sports.vice.com/en_us/article/breaking-kayfabe-an-inside-look-at-wwes-unlikely-business-empire the Hunter and Steph v Shane ordeal is palpable with Dunn and Vince thrown in for good measure obvs. This seems to reinforce that personality and overall likeability wise everyone preferred Shane backstage. He just couldn't cut it creatively although from the sounds of Gewirtz Steph wasn't that creative either and was a "buffer" for Vince and creative

Speculation on the WrestleMania 33 card
yeah I was thinking they might do Owens v Jericho v Reigns. But no doubt Roman would be lost in the shuffle in that scenario. But they have to do jericho v Owens in some form
-
Speculation on the WrestleMania 33 card
I was actually thinking about posting that. If they get Rousey it's a natural for her v Charlotte. Going with Steph in that spot would be a disappointment after Charlotte's growth the last year. It will come down to ego I guess I still think they will do HHH v Rollins because that was planned for last year and Hunter wants to get that one in on his resume
-
WWE TV 12/05 - 12/11
Trump named Linda McMahon the head of his Small Business Administration for his cabinet. I know she's not affiliated with WWE anymore but I can't see them doing anything controversial, especially involving Steph, Shane or Vince that might make her look the slightest bit bad
-
WWE TV 12/05 - 12/11
So Rollins out of nowhere calling out HHH 3 months after costing him the title? They pushing that match up to the Rumble? Love Charlotte but man they really gotta move on from the Sasha feud. I think Emma from her tweets is going to be next for Sasha while Charlotte moves to Bayley. Sasha/Charlotte is probably best feud of year in wwe but the PPV *has*to be the blowoff. Still think Jericho is great. Have no idea when they go to the Owens match. Can they possibly wait till mania? Reigns also seems to have no obvious mania opponent right now either Also not much Mick and Steph the last few weeks has been a nice break

WWE TV 11/28-12/4
Stephanie revealed overseas that her book was delayed because it will be less a memoir and more a history of the McMahon family as a whole. Hey now...
