  1. Step #1: Have Vader Power Bomb Vince so that he loses his memory and is Lost in Cleveland. The rest sort of follows from there, really.
  2. Right now, with no Japanese wrestlers save for Mr. Saito, I have 78 guys that I feel I could make a list with today. I have another 50 or so that I feel could easily make it with some more watching.

Three sentimental picks I might slip on the end of my ballot: Hector Garza: http://segundacaida.blogspot.com/search/label/Hector%20Garza Stan Stasiak: The Andre match from Classics that people looked at The Portland matches in the Portland thread Earthquake/John Tenta: PWSS http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/19152-john-tenta/?hl=tenta

Blackwell might be my top fat guy.
  5. Franz Van Buyten (No, I'm kidding. I'm just trolling OJ).
  6. Like anything else, it depends on the context, the recovery, and the selling. In that situation, there was contact between foot and face, and Sasha was stunned for a few seconds, looking for blood, before moving on to the next spot, which then didn't end the match. In that regard, it worked. I had more of an issue with the transition spot of Sasha falling off the ropes, because I didn't think what was happening there was presented well by the wrestlers, the announcers, or the camera work and that was a much more important spot in the story of the match.

  8. I do get a kick out of it when they post something about a wrestler granting his first wish, especially if it's a guy like Bray Wyatt or 2012 Jack Swagger.
  9. I have no idea how to embed tweets, but: https://twitter.com/stephmcmahon/status/581881800659591168 I know this got a ton of heat with Keller at the time.
  10. Matt D replied to Strummer's topic in WWE
Rollins wins more than usual since he's a HHH protege, but he's a vulnerable heel champ. Neville is a threat to him, let alone Sting.
  11. Matt D replied to Strummer's topic in WWE
Sting vs Rollins might be the first (Non-NXT) WWE PPV match this year I'm actively looking forward to since Bryan vs Reigns.
  12. Matt D replied to Strummer's topic in WWE
At least they're using a part-timer to give a main guy rub.

Why is this still going on? I'm watching CMLL AND Hell on Wheels at the same time as this and I'm still bored. How do you guys do this every week? EDIT: hey, now I want to see Sting vs Rollins though. And the Sting US Title open challenge.

I will laugh and laugh if it's Kane.
  15. Matt D replied to Strummer's topic in WWE
There was an interview with him a few days ago saying he wanted to get more into hollywood and wrestle more part time.

Ziggler spasming his way around the ring on his way to the corner is pretty terrible.

I have to admit, Monday Nights are currently sort of fun: Pic was too huge but I was splitscreening Raw AND live CMLL on my cpu.

SDR is laying out matches on the main roster now though, isn't she?

This Divas match is making me miss Stephen Amell, face in peril.
  20. I thought the Rip Rogers vs Johnny Rich match was a lot of fun. I'm just playing catch up but started with that and enjoyed it. Rich played his role well and Rip was just all over the place in a good way.
  21. That was billed as the main event on TV and the most hyped thing. Different than NXT where both matches were treated as the main events. On SummerSlam if Cena-Rollins went on last it would had been strange. On NXT either could had went on last and nobody would had blinked. The Bayley match didn't go on last and people DID blink. That's the better argument.
  22. It was interesting to me how thoroughly Rollins played to the chants at the beginning. It's something that the Authority has mentioned in the last year, how the fans aren't behind Cena. Rollins was practically basking in the fact the fans were behind him, which I feel is a different reaction than most nominal heel Cena opponents have had. They are leaning into it more and more, is what I'm saying.
  23. Re: Death Spot vs First Spot: I was at the Rumble in Philly, and Tyson and Cesaro being in the first match and getting a massive babyface reaction (while they were heels), had a big part in them being turned and getting the belts I think.
  24. Counterpoint or an impending sign of the sort of Russo-ness we got during the Attitude Era?
