RVD is sort of like Sid in that he not only doesn't do the things that I like, but he actively does the things that I don't like. With Sid, there's kind of a goofy, lumbering comedic element to it. With RVD it just drives me up the wall.

That sounds like TNA follow up to me. I wonder if Cesaro can get a decent match out of RVD.

I didn't even get to Flair crying. He was just too much of a dick to Foley and I stopped watching. It's funny. I kind of think that if they let Flair out into the ring as a heel manager and paired him with someone, he'd be fine. I think he'd just channel what comes natural to him and he'd be vibrant and dynamic and probably have the time of his life. As a talking head, he's terrible though.

I was thinking if they could do one centered around Taker (like the one centered around Hogan) but there aren't a ton of great choices. They could have saved Jake/Bearer otherwise. Bossman, Bundy, Sid, Diesel (as Diesel), as streak entrants. DDP (THE STALKER), and Chuck Norris as your celebrity? Ok, maybe that's not so good an idea.

I think there could be some value in a celebratory tag situation, if only for the entrance and to make the crowd happy. He could hot tag and hit some of his big spots and it would be effective.

I know a big jvk talking point is that Backlund took a lot of his matches in order to compensate for his size/look/etc. I think Bryan over the last 2-3 months has been doing that for good or ill. It's probably the right decision.

So there were two dark matches between Main Event and Raw, one being Henry/Brotherhood vs 3MB. The other was Titus over someone. This is new right? I wonder why they did them and if they were maybe taped for the network.

I'm not sure the timing is all that creepy, really. I mean the guy was shaking the ropes wildly the other night and blown up. He had probably the most exciting weekend in years and probably an exhausting one given Axxess and media appearances/interviews and whatever else. I imagine he had a lot of personal anticipation and stress over the speech itself and what not. Given the years of steroids (and he was outside of the tested world for years where other guys weren't so who knows), it makes sense that his body was in fairly bad shape. The timing is tragic, but I'm not sure I'd call it creepy.

He plays to the crowd heelishly more than any guy they've had over the last few years save for Henry.

They kind of do that in the pre-shows now though. They were talking how Big E was preparing for the battle royal, for instance.

I think if they had just debuted Adam Rose last night it would have worked out really well for them.
