All I've seen is the three-way but that was a good three-way and whenever you get that, it's worth noting. Maybe a bit too much extra curricular stuff around Rowan t set up spots towards the end.

    Dr. K you mean.

That's like asking a genie for more wishes.
  4. The flipside is that Arn live-watching CHIKARA while drunk could be amusing?
  5. I'm catching up too. I'd be sort of curious what a Conrad Podcast with Arn would look like. He obviously wouldn't have a 360 view on any specific show in the same way that someone like Eric or Prichard does, but he basically covers 1980 to 2019 and obviously he has a great mind for the business and laying out matches. Specific topical areas (be it, let's say the Stud Stable vs the Rhodes family or the Dangerous Alliance or the Brainbusters in WWF or his time teaming with Matt Borne or the Arn/Tully vs Road Warriors feud or the feud with Flair leading to the turn on sting and the New Horsemen or his guest shot in SMW, etc. up to laying out a specific Cena feud in-ring) could probably all work as shows.

Yeah, it's up and while no one's dressed 100% like Cap'n Crunch, what I've seen in the first few minutes is still amazing, almost all the more so for the complete lack of effort and production values. Ok, fess up, team. This comes out a week after khawk posts about it. Who on the board is secretly the person finding the hidden gems in the archives for the Network?

THE BATTLE OF BREAKFAST CEREAL MAY 01, 1989 Legendary superstars such as Nutra Rockne, Total the Terrible and Hondo the Honeybee compete in this bizarre battle for breakfast supremacy. Guess what's coming to the network today.

So this isn't a "Holy Grail" necessarily because we know this aired on tv (the 9/30/00 CMLL TV), but it is something I've always wanted to see, that I've never seen or come across a review of. Has anyone actually seen the 2000 CMLL Aniversario main event? Casas vs Wagner, Jr. in the Leyenda de Plata finals. Is it, you know, good? EDIT: FYI Cubsfan thinks that the TV was possibly preempted by the Olympics which is why we don't have it.
  9. The ads all have music in the background so they are very easy to skip.
  10. They could call it "a podcast with subtitles."
  11. My gut tells me that the Springboard Stunner only worked with Owens because of Owens' larger size.

@khawk20 Flagging you on the Outlaws match. Write up says it's probably not new, but I don't think I've seen it.
  13. I'm half watching things here. They should bring Jack Swagger back and let Shawn be the new Dutch. That's what he's going for with that look, right?
  14. I loved all the time he spent with the fans there.
  15. https://www.wwe.com/article/wwe-network-celebrates-5th-birthday-with-full-shows-and-throwback-lineup Looks like they're celebrating with a Best Of on the live feed primarily.

  17. WWE's not on the ball with this, but tomorrow's the 5th anniversary of the Network. I'd say it became much more of what I wanted it to be in the last year with the advent of the weekly hidden gems.

It's silent but it's very vivid, with entrances and some awesome post-match footage. (You still can't entirely see the crowd).

Ok, the Monroe match is up. Solid VQ. A ~37 year old Solie is commentating. From the 3/26/66 tv show, which also had a Lothario match on it. Hopefully they have that too. Seeing a 32 year old Lothario would be awesome.
  20. Ed Harris needs to hit the roids to play Verne.
  21. Matt D replied to NickH's topic in WWE
Looks like we might get an extra 3 minutes of it though?
  22. Isn't part of the deal that Vince legitimately sees Hardy as a star in a way he doesn't a lot of the guys on the current roster?
  23. They could probably get away with Kofi vs Bryan at Mania. Though they sort of did almost everything they could do in ring (with Kofi) here.
  24. I'd argue that them doing something like that now and again sort of helps everything not seem so overproduced.
  25. Bryan has to be loving it.
