They were the "point" people about the deal at the recent Shareholder conference, so yep.

Going by Jake's shoot as well he said the same thing. I heard others say the same things about his preference for young girls. Despite that he was well liked in quarters and was in WCW as an agent for some time. It'll be interesting how he lived past Katrina.

I agree that it wasnt kid friendly. This is kind of remincisent of the Funk-Flair plastic bag angle on the Flair DVD which got cut out of the UK release by the censors. The interesting questions is how the angle was put together and by whom? Why did Kevin Dunn linger on it? Along with how the decision made.

No he didn't. Do you really think he has corporate sources in WWE headquarters, people who are there to run business stuff and have pretty much nothing to do with wrestling? How would he have ever gotten in contact with them, and what would be the point? To get Titan Tower gossip of who doesn't clean up the break room? I get your point but Carl DeMarco was one of Dave's sources wasnt he? If they werent sources or if he didnt have a source never them why did he change his initial report?

I saw Alan4l say that Mattel must have kicked up a stink. Sounds quite plausible that as Vince, Steph et al. praised the angle intially. In today's age it is a bit hard to say something is a work without coming across as a know it all douche. The fact that if is legit WWE will turn it into a work doesnt help matters either. Like Loss I think the execution is too perfunctory to be a work. Either way it makes for some interesting speculation.

I wonder if Bryan will have to go anger management classes now or something before being re-signed? I hear that the Observer reported that few if any were in on the angle was Justin Roberts included?

Cant help but think: SCHOOL BOY PRANK GONE TOO FAR Who was the agent/creative who suggested/cleared that? Meltzer outed Donna Goldsmith and Michelle Wilson as sources as well.

Ridiculous quotes from WO.com columnists
Bryan is the same guy who employees Jez as his video game correspondent.

The middle section of the second paragraph absolutely killed me.

I do in the sense that if TNA did this there would be blood, heel turns, chair shots, swerves etc before the NXT angle.

RAW tonight
And that's supposed to be a good thing ? Just asking. The New Blood then.

I guess they want a big rating for NXT season 2 debut too. Kaval steps up to defend the promotion: http://twitter.com/KavalWWE

This angle so missed blood. Danielson should have written ROH in the air with his fingers. Natural Born Thrilllers 2010, anyone?

Best Angles That Didn't Pan Out
Im being kind of liberal in my use of this thread but Ive got questions about this angle: Ive only ever saw Doug's promo and not the beginning. What was and wasnt agreed on to be said? What lead up to Doug going off? Was there a payoff?

Not new news remember the reports during the divorce when his WWE royalty check was his only income.

Good Will Wrestling #2
I was hearten to hear that Homocide still loves Wrestling even working with TNA. Great show as always.

I like the reporter saying that WWE pulled in $1.7 billion in merchandising in 1990 and having more revenue than the NFL. And that was a down year for them! Along with a part time referee Rita Marie earning $500,000!
