GREAT show. I really enjoyed this. Keep it up.

I've just started this and it looks incredible. Seriously, if the 1st match is any indication of the quality of the rest of the set this is going to be great as the quality is excellent. Plus, the packaging and insert are great. The insert has Corny describing what's going on in every segment that's on the set. The insert is in black & white, which is a bit of a minus, but it's informative and adds to the viewing experience.

That 1st Casas-Mistico match from March was an instant classic for me. I loved that match. I had zero expectations going in and after it was over I was marking out like I was a kid at WrestleMania. Also, it was the match that convinced me that Negro Casas is on the short-list of best workers in the world. And Floyd, I see your reviewed the Tanahashi-Nakanishi match where Nak wins the title. Did you see the 6/20/09 rematch? I didn't go back and check so you may have, but if you haven't be sure and check it out. It lacks the dramatic, feel-good moment of 2009 that was the surprise Nak title win, but I think it's the superior match.

It's not as great as the other two, but still good.

I'm with you on the Mistico-Negro Casas matches. Criminally underrated in my opinion. Especially considering all of the deserved praise for the Mysterio-Jericho matches which borrowed more than a little from this rivalry. I ranked the one from March as Top 5 of the year.

Sadness is visiting nearby in Washington D.C. during the week of the show and not going. I remember watching 1 of the last shows building up to it on TV and my father offered to take us. Knowing we were struggling for money, I politely declined even though I REALLY wanted to go. He even offered to try and find a way for me to meet Terry Funk since my Dad knew him when they were younger back in Amarillo. 'It's OK I said'. Imagine my frustration when I realized years later that this legendary show was the one I almost went to.
