Between the Sheets #64 (October 5-11, 2001) (Featuring Chandler Biggins)
I almost posted this last week but Bix's 'duh duh durrghh' soundbyte is really starting to grate. It was overkill on the last episode the amount of times it was played and ten minutes in to this it has already been used twice. I just find myself groaning every time I hear it now.

Between the Sheets #63 (September 28-October 4, 1985) (Featuring John McAdam)
Bix is spot on and The Tiger is definitely Bob Bradley. I've got copies of the Australian broadcast episodes of Championship Wrestling where he wrestles a handful of times.

Starrcade 90 was released over here in the UK because I had a copy. The UK releases were all edited or had matches cut from them which, as a completist, made me avoid getting them as I always wanted to see the card in full. That Starrcade for some reason wasn't and was the only WCW video I owned amongst a slew of WWE ones.

6:05 Superpodcast Episode #24: House of Gullen
Add me as another who skips the Top 10 (and has done since Bix was part of the show). I imagine if I were to tune in this week it would still consist of Brian doing his Sue the Shooter voice, some unfunny tweets from Denim Fritz, a Black Scorpion impression, lots of sound bites of Mark Gullen, Larry Nelson and Lance Russell etc. I still listen (and will continue to do so) to the rest of the show but It was easily the worst part of the podcast for me.

Between the Sheets #61 (September 14-20, 1998)
Heath Herring and Frank Trigg also came out of the USWF along with Paul Buentello and Evan Tanner.

WELCOME TO RAW IS...Oh, sorry habit, TALK IS JERRRIIICHO!
I listened to the Kevin Owens one (which I enjoyed), but when it comes Jericho's podcast it all depends on the guest (and I have zero interest when it's a non-wrestling one).

The The are indeed a fine band, though it's more about Mind Bomb for me.

UFC 203: Because CM Punk is finally fighting
Huge difference between Frank Mir and Mickey Gall too.

The Jim Cornette Experience
I don't know if many bother with Cornette's podcast anymore, but Dutch Mantel is great on this week's episode. They can't touch everything but they talk early Memphis, Puerto Rico, booking and how he got his job in WWE.

Dave Meltzer stuff
Was reading an old episode of the Observer from 12.2.99 yesterday and came across the following in the WCW section Oh Dave...

[1993-05-08-SMW-TV] Interview: Kevin Sullivan
From what I remember I don't think the Stud Stable actually 'turned', it was as you surmised, in that the fans just started cheering them when they started to feud with the Bodies. Yup, it was the same Taz from ECW fame. He had a couple of TV appearances, but his main role was as a participant in the Rage in the Cage match.

Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard
Ah, fair enough then. It was just something I'd never heard of read before and I would've thought it would have been the kind of thing reported in the Observer or I would have heard Austin talk about it on his podcast at some point.

Between the Sheets #59 (August 31-September 6, 1988) (Featuring Jordan Breen)
I agree with this. There are times when Kris or Bix will say something, the other will start laughing and I'm wanting you to explain but nothing. It happened again on this episode.

Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard
I generally enjoy this, but not sure on everything that Prichard comes out with. His claim that Austin and Bret went into business for themselves at Wrestlemania with the blade job is one glaring example for starters.

Between the Sheets #58 (August 24-30, 2005)
Wasn't this Beth Phoenix and Shelly Martinez? It was strange seeing Phoenix especially playing this role when you consider it was a million miles from her WWE character on the main roster. Heath Slater is another that goes back to the Deep South days. I used to get copies of their TV regularly and generally enjoyed it. Mike Knox was much better here than he ever was in the WWE and I also thought Derrick Neikirk deserved better. Shantelle Taylor and the tag team of Mike Taylor & Tony Santorelli are the standouts that I thought should've been bought up but never were. Shantelle Taylor very briefly played a masked male wrestler in dark matches and WWE house shows but the gimmick went no further than that.

Scott Keith's Podcast of Doom
I agree with what Mick said and won't be giving it another go. There's just too much choice when it comes to wrestling podcasts these days. I don't always have the time to catch and listen to the podcasts that I enjoy, so I'm not going to spend that time on something I thought was terrible.

Jon Harris as Trapper John in the WWF
I was reading some old Observers from 1986 last night and came across the following in the 02.24.86 issue, "Newcomers to the WWF at recent TV tapings are Jake Roberts, Dory Funk Jr, Trapper John (John Harris) and Alexis Smirnoff." Meltzer doesn't say what tapings he debuted at and he seemingly quit a month or so after this debut match despite being on the payroll for a while before. My guess, and this is only a guess, is that his try-out match/debut was in a dark match at the 01.28.86 Poughkeepsie tapings.
