Goldberg's WWE Run
Didn't Goldberg do a whole lot of nothing between the Rock match and a Rodney Mack squash on Raw from MSG, which came just weeks before SummerSlam 2003?

I just took it as Steph having to assert herself over someone else on the roster. And wasn't Grumpy Cat a 2012 thing?

Animated GIF thread
It was actually the announcement of Scott Steiner vs Samoa Joe. http://youtu.be/6S8Mc4gADq8?t=1m14s I always thought it was the announcement of Kurt Angle signing. I wasn't watching much at the time; was Joe vs. Steiner a really big deal in TNA?

Isn't Superstars just Raw clips bookended by two matches? I usually just fast-forward through the middle of the show.

Hell In A Cell - Live As It Happens
I enjoyed a lot of this show. I didn't like how the main event ended with a whimper. Guys trade clean wins every week on TV but need crazy angles and all sorts of interference to win on PPV? Couldn't they have saved Wyatt attacking Ambrose for tomorrow night?

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
First they were part of...Powerteam USA! Is that Rick Bassman in front? He looks like the long lost love child of Kurt Angle and Paul Heyman. Same thing here, when i heard they were originally part of Powerteam USA I thought it was the evangelical feats of strength guys. Wasn't Rico from Billy & Chuck fame part of the evangelical group at one point?

If only they went in that direction more often. Well, it was the entire focus of Orton's promo on RAW. I actually thought of you last night during the promo, Johnny. No kidding.

Shoots Review and Preview thread
Doesn't Sheamus have a rep for getting his ass kicked in real fights, while also being proud of how "tough" and snug he is in the ring?

Wade says that Sheamus isn't well-liked among the wrestlers because of his attitude.

If only they went in that direction more often. Instead it's "The Authority is mad at Cena".

WWE Network... It's Here
WCW gave him a generic History Channel commercial track for a theme and the WWF gave him that pseudo-Bond music. What's your point artDDP? WWE could have given him Sean Connery as a manager; what does it matter when you're coming down the ring to wrestle on Heat with no real direction or light at the end of the tunnel. What I will say in defence of Malenko in the WWE is; of the four Radicalz he was the one who seemed to fit in and feel settled the most at the very start. I didn't have a point.

Dave Meltzer stuff
This was the same episode where Groundskeeper Willie was dubbed "'Rowdy' Roddy Peeper" by the tabloid show, correct?

Current WWE
AJ and Brock Lesnar are the only two champions in WWE who are booked to look dominant.

WWE needs to get Dave Meltzer and Bill Apter together for something on the Network.

I thought I had imagined this, too. Then I Googled it and once I saw the pics it all came rushing back to me.

WWE Network Subscribers
I signed up for WWE Network on day one. Up until late May I was watching the programming quite a bit, probably because I had broken my foot and wasn't able to go to the gym for a few weeks. I kept up with the monthly PPV cards but didn't watch much else during the summer. I've since been watching regularly. Since Raw has been such a chore lately I enjoy the condensed versions on Main Event and Superstars. I like following the Nitro shows with Bryan and Vinny and, as Johnny said, sometimes I just want to watch something like Uncensored 1995. As for the price, I figure I spend about the same on a six-pack of craft beer so it's very well worth it.

WWE Network... It's Here
Will it just be replays of the ones that were released on DVD in the last few years or are there new episodes? They only did the Shawn-Bret one. I thought there was an Austin-McMahon one, too.

His former best friend betrayed him and attempted to kill him and Ambrose responds with goofy comedy? And Dave says "this is the same thing that got Steve Austin over."

I got one of those earlier this year. Couldn't believe it's still circulating.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
By all accounts The Rock was the least paranoid, over-protective star in the locker room and he's the one who went on to have the most incredibly successful in-ring and post-wrestling career. I just find it fascinating.

WWF Magazine Memories
I only ever found the Brian Pillman special issue. WCW Magazine would appear randomly at a local supermarket in the late 90s with seemingly zero consistency. There were usually any number of Napolitano magazines at those grocers, too.

WWF Magazine Memories
I finally found a copy of the farewell issue of WWE Magazine at a nearby Target. Aside from a small mention on the cover and a few mentions inside there isn't much else to it. It's just a standard issue of the magazine, complete with a Bo Dallas workout article. Man, if there's one guy on the roster I wanna look like it sure ain't Bo Dallas. I flipped through it and decided not to buy it.
