Posted July 7, 201015 yr comment_5452821 1Real World Tag League: Bruiser Brody & Stan "The Lariat" Hansen vs. Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta (12/9/82) This is a fuckin hot crowd which is always a plus. There is a lot of clubberin going on here as these guys are laying in the shots and it's wonderful to watch. They work at a nice pace keeping the match flowing especially Hansen & Jumbo who have a mini-match here that is so great just taking shots at each other. There was a very hot stretch run that led to the big finish of Baba eating everyone's finisher and doing the job for Brody. I loved this match and I think this is a definite nomination as everyone worked hard and best of all CLEAN FINISH.
July 8, 201015 yr comment_5452878 There wasn't a whole lot of plot development in this one. It was basically just four huge stars blasting away from first bell to last. Memorable finish with Hansen hitting chunky lariats on both natives. I can't remember seeing Baba dominated so clearly. Overall, it's not a match I have strong feelings about. I can see why Kris liked it but also why Will didn't nominate it. It was never boring, but until the finish, one moment didn't seem to mean any more than another. I'll call it a mild yes.

July 8, 201015 yr comment_5452897 Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen vs. Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta (12/9/82) - This was a weird match to watch. On one hand, none of them felt compelled to sell or use any strategy that would tell a story. On the other hand, they beat the shit out of each other, never slow things down and the crowd was hot. Brody also made a clean pin on Baba after the knee drop. I am on the fence with this one so I’ll defer to someone else.
