I love the carrying your guy on your shoulders on the way to the ring and that should be brought back for the big matches. Casas would take the first fall pretty quickly with a Casita and he was extremely happy because he thought he had Santo and he started the second fall taking the battle to Santo but that didn't last long. Santo would hit a kneelift giving him the chance he needed and he would make Casas submit to a tapatia to even the falls. The 3rd fall was the action fall of course with both men looking awesome hitting their big moves. Santo nailed Casas with a tope suicida on the floor but Negro kept fighting back even after eating a backdrop to the concrete followed up by a big plancha off the top rope by Santo. Santo would try so hard to get the Santo Clutch on Negro but he would slide out until it was finally locked in with Santo rocking back and forth until Negro had no choice but to submit. Santo would celebrate then shook hands with Negro before the shaving began with a crying Negro on his knees. This was awesome stuff and a slam dunk nomination no doubt.

Kris mentioned in his review that Meltzer raved about this, and it is the kind of lucha Meltzer would rave about. I like it grittier and more violent. Both guys are super talented, but I will take their 1997 match seven days a week.
