Posted July 14, 201015 yr comment_5453136 DVD #10 5/2/87 (taped 5/1, 4/23) 1. Hiroshi Wajima vs. Stan Hansen (12:37 shown) - Reviewed on Classics. 2. Raja Lion sparring - Sort of amusing to watch a rail-thin, 6-foot-6 Indian kickboxing with jobbers. I can't wait to see his match with Baba. 3. Giant Baba/John Tenta vs. Goro Tsurumi/Rusher Kimura (7:00 shown) - Reviewed on Classics. 4. Jumbo Tsuruta/Hiroshi Wajima vs. Yoshiaki Yatsu/Shinnichi Nakano (12:00 shown) - This was OK when Jumbo was in the ring but nothing I'd want to see again. 5/9/87 (taped ?) 1. Great Kabuki vs. Ashura Hara (7:54 shown) - I thought this might be good, but boring Kabuki reared his ugly head, and they went to a stupid DQ ending. 2. John Tenta vs. Masanobu Kurisu (6:28 shown) - Reviewed on Classics. 3. Jumbo Tsuruta/Hiroshi Wajima vs. Rusher Kimura/Goro Tsurumi (8:30 shown) - I liked the bad blood between Wajima and Kimura. Wajima was really best when he seemed pissed off and tried to slap the hell out of people. Jumbo did his routine of taking a little punishment from a much lower ranked guy (Tsurumi) and then finishing him with a quick burst of offense. Overall, this was no better than decent. 4. Genichiro Tenryu vs. Yoshiaki Yatsu (8:39 shown) - Reviewed on Classics.
