Posted July 22, 201015 yr comment_5453455 Jerry Lynn vs Justin Credible This was actually pretty good with Credible bumping huge and it being a lot less your turn, my turn than I would have expected. You don't expect either of these guys to give you long term selling so I was happy to see it kept relatively short. Lynn's initial offensive run was really fun and I thought the offensive comeback from Credible was sustained enough that they were actually building some heat on Lynn which is something you don't normally see from his matches. I'm really on the fence about this because there is so much stuff to watch and I don't think this is going to stand out at the end of the day. I'll nominate it on the low end because this is a good example of a match that I liked, but I have a feeling others might love. Sabu vs Danny Doring Nothing match. Sabu brushing off Doring's plancha was funny though. Chris Candido vs Jamie Dundee This was probably the "worst" JC Ice in ECW match I've seen and it was still pretty good. Lots of karate posing from Ice, pre-match shit talk, and Candido hitting an insanely long vertical suplex. Good stuff but just not enough substance to nominate. The FBI vs Blue Meanie & Super Nova Decent comedy match, with some solid spots, but ultimately this pisses me off. I like watching Tracy dance as much as the next guy, but the refs getting spots on the FBI stuff was run into the ground here and you really got the feeling this could have been very good if it was wrestled half way seriously. Lance Storm vs Balls Mahoney Storm tries to work a standard workrate match with Mahoney and it comes across really flat. They worked hard but it wasn't good. Rob Van Dam vs Mikey Whipwreck Bullshit run-in ending. This was not nomination worthy at all since it is just Mikey getting demolished by RVD offense, but man alive he could still get his ass kicked with the best of them even at this point in his career. Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Axl Rotten Bigelow mauls him in a couple of minutes. The Dudley Boys vs Sandman, Tommy Dreamer & Spike Dudley I liked the beginning of this okay and thought Spike looked good but once the shit started with Gertner it fell apart and it wasn't much even before then.
