Crazy has not looked good so far. Balls Mahoney v. Steve Corino This is a fun combination of Corino's schtick and Balls beating the shit out of him. Decent little match. Antifaz Del Norte v. Little Guido This wasn't very good. There were a couple decent spots but nothing that would blow you away. Jerry Lynn v. RVD Made SC top 100. New Jack v. Mustapha Saed Typical New Jack match although including the crazy dive off a balcony through a table. Nothing we haven't seen a hundred times. D-Von Dudley/Bubba Dudley v. Nova/Spike Dudley Total squash with non-finish, though they do crowd surf Spike. For some reason Sid comes down then it leads to Spike coming back and pinning Bubba? Bizarre. Shane Douglas/Tommy Dreamer v. Impact Players This was a recipe for disaster as Shane Douglas working extended FIP segment in 1999 with Lance Storm and fucking Justin Credible as the heels on offense is pretty much an all time nightmare match for anyone with good taste in wrestling. Match goes nearly 20 fucking minutes and there is hardly anything of note in it. Credible doesn't even have a big bump. Yuck. Sabu v. Taz (Falls Count Anywhere) This was a mixed bag. There were a couple of moments when this was dangerously close to running off the rails and falling completely apart but it never really does. I really liked most of the big spots in this a lot as they did a good job of conveying hate and nothing was too contrived. There were a couple of really good table spots and even the spots that were slightly off looked pretty brutal (Sabu inside out powerbomb that ended with Taz on top of him, Fonzy hurling a chair at Taz awkwardly, et.). My big problem with this is that it just went to fucking long. In theory twenty minutes isn't too long for a title match but they were throwing bombs from the jump and by the end they had really killed the crowd and just seemed to be looking for more big spots to hit before the finish. Overall more good than bad, but I can't rubber stamp this.
