Nova/Chris Chetti v. Danny Doring/Amish Roadkill

Match is basically platform to debut Chetti's new gimmick which is essentially Ricky Martinesque club kid. Not good though there were some decent spots from Chetti and Roadkill.

Jason Knight v. Jazz (EXTRA)

This was legitimately good. Jason is such an easy to hate douche it's unbelievable. Jazz actually looks awesome on offense as she can drill him with speedy leg sweep reversals, or hit power moves like suplexes and samoan drops and you buy it. Jason going to knife edge chops to gain advantage every time is perfect for such a slime ball. Good stuff. Perfect for an Extra.

Super Crazy v. Little Guido

This is a tough one. Guido is a total bump freak in this as usual and Crazy hits some really insane stuff with multiple moonsaults in the crowd. I really liked Sal E. in this as he hit some wicked offense on Crazy on the floor and set up an actual real heat section in this, with mini-comebacks and cutoffs. My problem is that this period is all built around nearfalls and the pacing is all fucked. The crowd stays with them, but instead of coming across as a setup for a big babyface comeback it just comes across as an extended stretch run. Having said that Crazy's misdirection dive on Sal E. is awesome and I really love Guido's bump on the finish. Eh. Crazy's selling is really weak despite the best efforts of Guido and a decent match structure. I just can't bring myself to nominate this.

Balls Mahoney/Spike Dudley v. D-Von Dudley/Bubba Dudley (Falls Count Anywhere)

This is the infamous show where the Dudleys go on a pre-match tirade and nearly start a riot. The match itself is a pretty good street fight with some massive bumps from Spike, a balcony dive from Spike, and some pretty good brawling. The end is flat, but it's a title change and the post match with the tables on fire is kind of iconic even if it was half botched. They probably had better finishes but I'm not sure they had better matches. Tough call on this one too. I'll give it a low end nomination.

Tajiri v. Taz

This evolved out of a Tajiri/Corino/Victory beatdown of Dreamer and was actually pretty damn good. Tajiri came across as an ass kicker that could compete with Taz, drilling him with kicks to the head, hitting an awesome Asai moonsault into the crowd and generally hanging with him. Taz had a nice counter out of a tarantula and while he didn't sell for shit he gave Tajiri a lot of the match to the point that when Taz made his hulk up run before the finish it didn't feel like a bury job. In fact the stuff on the ramp way was pretty awesome with Taz pasting Jack Victory with his wheelchair and suckering Tajiri into trying a headkick before dumping him on a table with a nasty suplex. I have no clue what the fuck the actual finish was here as Taz went to the stage and grabbed something while Styles screamed "go wide" and sold it like he was choking Tajiri with a machete. Finish pisses me off a lot, but I still think it ought to move forward for the time being. Low end nomination.

Rob Van Dam/Jerry Lynn v. Impact Players

This got one vote for the SC poll but was well below the top 100. This was actually a very fun spotfest. I had extremely low expectations coming in and they were easily exceeded. Credible and Van Dam both took some epic bumps here and the hectic pace actually fit here. There is enough RVD bullshit and Lance Storm being Lance Storm for me to be a bit wary of a nomination, but since it did have a voter at SC I'll pass it through under the "others may like this a lot more than I did" rule.

Wasn't Taz choking Tajiri with a small roll of barbed wire? I remember REALLY hating the finish as I couldn't stand Joey Styles when he would go into his "We're gonna get kicked off PPV/Network" voice.
