Posted July 29, 201015 yr comment_5453712 The Pitbulls v. FBI This was pretty decent. FBI looked good as usual. Big Don Tommy Rich was also pretty great. Pitbulls aren't much to work with but I was entertained as always with the FBI. Chris Candido v. Chris Chetti I liked this okay until the finish. Candido was bumping around like crazy for Chetti which isn't really believable but it's probably the best way to work against Chetti if you are Candido. He did get in a great line at one point complaining that when he was in the WWF they all chanted ECW and now that he's in ECW they all chant for a WWF talent (crowd was chanting "we want Sunny"). Chetti' botching a fucking schoolboy at the end was pretty horrid. Spike Dudley v. Taz Competitive squash that really wasn't terribly interesting. Spike hit a nice rolling plancha but the best part about this was Taz cussing out a fan post-match. Billy Wiles v. Steve Richards Oddly this was worked even and went sort of long. Not very good. All Stevie schtick. Beulah/Tommy Dreamer v. Francine/Shane Douglas I liked some of the early brawling with Tommy and Shane. Say what you want about ECW but they new how to take good guardrail bumps. This fell apart pretty quickly though. The Eliminators v. D-Von Dudley/Big Dick Dudley v. The Gangstas Boring as piss. Not even New Jack dancing a jigg during weapons shots could make this entertaining. Sandman v. Balls Mahoney This might have been okay if it had gone longer or if they hadn't had to cram everything in so fast. I thought Sandman and Balls both took some pretty big and nasty bumps and I thought Sandman's cane shot was pretty brutal but this wasn't laid out in an advantageous way. Terry Funk v. Raven Funk worked hard to make this entertaining but man the crowd for this sucks. Funk is scream curses at Raven, tossing chairs at him, putting on toehold in the crowd and people are just sort of sitting there. Then the BWO runs in and has a lengthy interview segment mid-match. Blah.
