The Dupps v. Kid Kash/Nova

First half was pretty weak. I thought everything from the kash diving segment on ranged from pretty good to tolerable, but this isn't something that is going to be memorable in anyway.

Simon Diamond v. Jazz

I liked this. It wasn't as good as the Jason Knight match because Simon is not as scummy but it had the same sort of simple story and I thought Simon did a good job making Jazz look credible without looking like a total phony.

Jerry Lynn v. Super Crazy

I thought this really lacked flow and a Jerry Lynn match without flow really is the apex of nothingness. Finish with Tajiri and Corino running in didn't do this any favors either.

Roadkill/Danny Doring v. Billy Wiles/C.W. Anderson

Aside from Doring horribly botching a top rope elbow this was fairly good. Roadkill has his stuff that he always does but it's really good and impressive stuff. Doring's bullshit was at a minimum in this and Wiles and Anderson are the sort of team that would have been all kinds of fun as undercard talents in pre-Hogan era WCW.

Tajiri v. Little Guido

I really liked Tajiri in this as he was working his heel schtick hardcore, kicking the shit out of Guido off the break, mocking him relentlessly and he bumped for and sold Sal E.'s inevitable interference better than anyone I've ever seen. My problem here was that this really came across as a one sided mauling with an unwilling victim. I wouldn't call Guido bad or uncooperative even but he looked absent at times and didn't really deliver the things that you usually get from his act. Also the finish - while clean - came really out of the blue

Da Baldies v. Balls Mahoney/Axl Rotten

This was a total demolition of Da Baldies. Vic Grimes looked good in this bumping huge and taking a convincing ass beating.

Spike Dudley v. Mike Awesome

Last time I watched their Guilty of Charged 2000 match I really enjoyed it, so I was sorta looking forward to this. I think this was a slightly less over the top version of that. You still have to be willing to accept a guy as small as Spike as a legit threat to Awesome, but if you can get over that this is really good. Spike gets in early offense to establish that he has a chance and then Awesome kills Spike forever, and then Spike makes a good comeback and Awesome cuts him off and it sort of goes that way. In particular I really liked the Spike offensive barrage on the floor with the leaping chairshots and Awesome catching him on the tope to stop his momentum. This was either a spotfest masquerading as a match with a story or vice versa but it was good either way.

Raven/Tommy Dreamer v. Rhino/Chris Candido

I have no clue what the fuck was going on here. Tammy's tits are probably the most over act on this show and speaking of over acting Candido is fucking insane here doing mid match Flair imitations for no reasons, molesting Tammy with impunity throughout and then working 80 percent of the match with one of his ass cheeks entirely exposed which he HAD to know was the case. Raven looked like shit, Rhino was unimpressive and Dreamer was just there. Weird.

Sabu v. Justin Credible

Credible put more into pre-match mic work than he did the match. This was really uninspired and boring. Pretty weak note to end the show on.
