Posted August 1, 201015 yr comment_5453806 Aside from Chetti somehow managing to fuck up the final build to the hot tag this was really good. Babyfaces got to open hot with the FBI being perfect bump fodder for them and Mikey looking really tight with his armdrags. Early dive segment was good too. Thought Chetti was actually a respectable FIP in this though Mikey really helped by working a bunch of "frustrated partner" spots. Rich almost kills Chetti on the floor at one point and Guido was really good in this. Mikey's hot tag and offensive run was really good and I enjoyed the finish with Rich walloping Mikey with the flag on a roll up attempt.
August 6, 201015 yr comment_5454050 This was fun and I enjoyed it but I wasn't feeling nomination. I don't know if it was Chetti or if I have higher expectations from the FBI since i have enjoyed almost all of their matches. I may have to revisit it but it didn't feel like a nomination for Best ECW match to me.
August 6, 201015 yr Author comment_5454070 Not worth revisiting. It's a low end nom and I'm not going to fight for it. Up to this point you haven't shot down/disliked/or been indifferent to anything I am wedded to (even Kronus v. Mikey is a match that I probably shouldn't have rated as an "Easy Nomination" by I know SLL liked it so I gave it a *bump* of sorts).
September 20, 201015 yr comment_5456033 The Full Bloodied Italians (Little Guido & Tracy Smothers) vs. Chris Chetti & Mikey Whipwreck (10/31/97) Funny seeing Eric Gargiulo as the ring announcer. The FBI was fun here as usual and Mikey was fine but Chetti's greenness hurt the match at times especially towards the end that it dragged the match down. Fun match for what it was but not a nomination.
