Posted August 5, 201015 yr comment_5453993 DVD #9 4/17/88 (taped 4/15/88 ) Jimmy Snuka/Big Bubba vs. Jumbo Tsuruta/Yoshiaki Yatsu (7:17 of 11:44 aired) - Snuka looked pretty bad here, failing to get off the ground for basic stuff like leapfrogs. And Traylor was still too green to make much of an impression. They clubbed on Yatsu for most of the match. Blah. Bruiser Brody vs. Genichiro Tenryu (30:00 complete) - Reviewed on Classics. 4/24/88 (taped 4/19/88 ) Yoshiaki Yatus/Hiroshi Wajima vs. Tommy Rich/Austin Idol (6:21 of 12:11 aired) - Rich and Idol came off almost as jobbers here, with Yatsu working over Idol's leg and finishing him easily with his leg submission. Genichiro Tenryu/Ashura Hara vs. Big Bubba/Jimmy Snuka (11:35 complete) - Tenryu and Hara seemed to enjoy beating on the fat American. I think they wanted to make him bleed all over his white button down. They failed in that quest, and the match failed to excite me overall.
