I don't mind Singh so much when he's getting chopped in the face by Tenryu or kicked in the throat by Kawada. In fact his schtick would have worked a lot better in general if he had faced more retaliation from nasty fuckers like them. I really enjoyed this overall. Singh and Abby started out mauling Tenryu, and the crowd really got behind him as he rallied. But Kawada proved to be his Achilles heel, unable to sustain an advantage on Abby. Some of Abby's cutoff shots on Kawada looked great and his elbow drop (with Tenryu distracted by beating on Singh) felt like an appropriate ending. I hate to do this to you Will, but I'm pulling the trigger on another match involving Tiger Jeet. Nomination.

Abby/Tiger Jeet Singh vs. Genichiro Tenryu/Toshiaki Kawada (7:31 complete) 11/20/88 (taped 11/19/88 )

- Was there a Tenryu-Abby singles match because that looked like it could have been fun? We go from Abby-Tenryu to TJS choking out Tenryu and ignoring Kawada’s breakup. I have seen enough tags this week… When the partner is kicking you ten times to break a hold… you break the damn hold. Christ, I hate Jeet Singh. The crowd brawling was fun and TJS chair shots looked pretty vicious but I have seen some AWESOME tags today. This isn’t even close. No Vote.
