Posted August 18, 201015 yr comment_5454612 PWF Heavyweight Title: Giant Baba © vs. Tiger Jeet Singh (2/5/85) I liked the green ring here as it was NOAHesque. This wasn't the usual Tiger Jeet brawl as they had some matwork early with Baba looking fairly good but Singh would roughhouse it later. Baba wins though using the cobra twist then there is a brawl after the match with Rusher Kimura starting it. The British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith) vs. Animal Hamaguchi & Kuniaki Kobayashi (2/5/85) Everyone looked good early as they were going at a fast pace which worked to the Bulldogs favor. Man did DBS & Kobayashi really fuck up their sequences for about 30 seconds as they had no idea what to do so DBS finally tagged DK in to get the match back in order. The guys then worked hard trying to have a good match and it was heading there but we had a cheap double countout finish. The Great Kabuki & Takashi Ishikawa vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler & "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant (2/5/85) Lawler got streamers which was great but man it sucks he was wasted in this match and not against Jumbo or Choshu. Then you had Valiant jobbing to Ishikawa...wow Tiger Mask II vs. The Great Kabuki (7/31/86) Lots of headlocks and armlocks here to start and this was okay but it was starting to make me sleepy before it finally picked up with a sweet plancha from TM II to the floor. The finishing sequence came after that and it was interesting leading to a Kabuki backdrop suplex hold but TM got his shoulders up thus getting the win. The fans were confused and this isn't a nomination.
