Chris Chetti/Jerry Lynn v. Roadkill/Danny Doring

This was just "there." Roadkill getting over really well for a Chetti rana impressed me other than that nothing stands out.

Bobby Duncam Jr. v. Doug Furnas

This was over before it started. They work it as a "moves" sprint because they were trying to get their shit in early and it was okay but I really wanted to see them work something more substantive.

FBI v. Sandman/Balls Mahoney/Axl Rotten

FBI are working the same six-man tag "champ" gimmick and it's still pretty amusing. Rich gets the upperhand on Sandman early which is surprising and lays into him with some great punches and a nasty cane shot which really gets the crowd pissed. Tracy and Guido then come in and do some pretty effective double team spots, before the Big Don comes back in for some more cheapshots with the cane. Rich is a monster working the crowd on the apron throughout and Sandman sells really well and Guido takes a couple of sweet bumps for his comeback so the opening segment pretty much ruled. Guido gets his ass kicked for a bit and then Balls in with Tracy and then the inevitable Balls FIP segment. Man Rich's punches looked good in this as he is just beating on Mahoney. The Tracy/Balls segment leading to the hot tag was a lot of fun with Smothers taunts and slapping at Mahoney's face. Off the hot tag Sandman is able to regain his cane from the FBI and you think we are going to get the same finish from the other tag with the chairshot/caneshots to all the heels but they kick out for a really cool nearfall. Tracy gets a nearfall or two on Sandman and they do a sort of oddball, mini-please don't stop, finish with several broken up pinfalls before Rich gets beat with the Nutcracker Suite. I will be accused of overrating the FBI, but this is another one I'm nominating.

Mikey Whipwreck v. Justin Credible

Wow this was WAY better than I would have guessed after the first match. Instead of starting with Mikey going crazy they do a parity exchange and Credible escapes Mikey's stunner with was a reoccuring theme of this one. Mikey's punches look brutal in this, Credible brings the bumping craziness, and the pacing is really excellent as this is a back and fourth match but it doesn't really feel like one in part because of Mikey's selling and reactions. Even the run-in with everybody interfering and getting cutters came across pretty well and the tombstone finish didn't hurt Mikey at all. Good match. One of the better singles Credible matches I can recall seeing.

Sabu v. Too Cold Scorpio

God damn I love Scorp in this. He is just wiping Sabu out with kicks, clotheslines, a nasty moonsault and a hanging death valley driver. Sabu was sloppy in this but this was still on the way to being nomination fodder if not for the stupid ass RVD run-in that essentially takes over the match. Bastard. Post-match with Sandman making the save and the Scorp beer drinking was funny at least.

Al Snow v. Chris Candido (EXTRA)

Candido was really good in this. All of his offense looked sharp, he hit a cool dive, his comedic selling and bumping was on point without being too over-the-top, et. There were some really good looking punch exchanges in this one to as both guys seemed to be really laying it in. Douglas run-in was needless, but the Francine interference spot flowed perfectly into Candido's legdrop and actually looked really good. I also like the finish with Candido hitting Head with a chain and selling it before taking the snow plow a lot more than I probably should have. On the fence on this one because I'm not sure it rates all that highly with other stuff. I'll toss it out there as a potential extra.

Spike Dudley v. D-Von Dudley

Spike opening up with a control segment and slapping D-Von around on the mat with D-Von freaking out was pretty god damned awesome. D-von having to resort to a low blow to get over on him was pretty great too. From there this is similar to the Bubba v. Spike match from the March 27th show, though D-Von's offense isn't as sharp and Spike isn't allowed to do as much offensively. Kronus/New Jack run in is an exact repeat. Still a good example of how awesome Spike could be.

Tommy Dreamer v. Bam Bam Bigelow

Bigelow dominates Dreamer, Dreamer takes some big bumps and makes some mini-comebacks. This is smartly structured to be honest and as always Dreamer tries hard, but Tommy isn't a guy that is suited to work this sort of match. Neither guy looks terrible in this, it's just not a favorable match up for either guy.
