Posted August 20, 201015 yr comment_5454719 Son of a bitch another awesome FBI match. This was just a glorious fucking sprint in front of a molten crowd. I'm not a fan of Nova at all, but his flurries of offense in this were really good and his twisting dive onto the FBI was fucking great. I also love Meanie teasing a dive on Rich and the FBI chasing Nova down and face planting him ringside to take over on the control segment. Guido was really good in this and Meanie's big splash that led to the teased finish before the Rich flagpole shot looked really sweet. This is short and a bit different from what you would expect from the FBI, but I would recommend it highly as a match that showcases several guys in a positive light.
November 4, 201015 yr comment_5457979 FBI v. Blue Meanie/Super Nova Solid Nomination - FanCam 4-4-98 (3:32 disc) - A little shocking to see Meanie competitive here and not covered in blood. Anyway, hot beginning to the match. The FBI take over on Nova and he plays FIP. The Meanie hot tag section was pretty hot but I think the match ended way too early. I’ll give it a low-level because I enjoyed the match but I like other FBI matches way more than this one.
November 22, 201015 yr comment_5458552 The Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido & Tracy Smothers) vs. The Blue Meanie & Super Nova (4/4/98) The fans are hot for this one which is great and the FBI are yet again awesome with their schtick. Nova's dive to the floor was really cool and the FBI caught him perfectly which was good. The Nova FIP section was good as the FBI were very good working double-teams and just taking it to him before getting the hot tag to Meanie who cleans house on everyone before Rich would clobber him with the flagpole allowing Smothers to win. Very fun little match here and it deserves to be on the block.
