I love Tajiri, but Kash has impressed me a lot so far in watching for this thing. The opening of this was really great as you get Tajiri's taunting and him punting Kash in the face and then a great spot where Kash kicks through on a Tajiri attempted flip, followed by a bunch of arm drags. Tajiri bails and Kash botches a dive in the weirdest way I've ever seen as he seems to try a flip slingshot plancha even though Tajiri is clearly in place for the trademark lengthy Kash dive. They blow right through that, Kash hits a different dive, they go back to the ring and it's more fast paced stuff before Tajiri gets Kash's face off while hamming it up for the crowd some more. Tajiri does this great blankfaced sell of a tornado ddt, so Kash goes for another and Tajiri kicks his face off of his head. Kash eventually tries to steal a fall with a backslide and then Tajiri kills him dead with a brainbuster. As fast paced sprints go this isn't as clean as the Calo match from Dec. of 99, but it is a damn fun performance by Tajiri and if Kash doesn't wreck that spot this would be a borderline Easy nomination. It was a pretty bad fuck up, but not enough to keep this one from going through.

Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Kid Kash (3/3/00)

Damn Tajiri was awesome here as he was a tremendous heel and he was on another level at this stage of his career being one of the most complete workers in the business. Kash not so much as he has a couple of big fuckups but he comes back from that and is serviceable for the rest of the match. This was a total Tajiri carryjob to me and I think actually we could leave this one off the set.
