This was good stuff. Corino is a good guy to work with the faster, flippier dudes as he will temper them by working in his schtick and "old school" control segments and this match is a really good example of that. The early stuff with Corino trying to shake Kash's hand and stalling at all cost was a nice change as these ECW matches tend to be pure workrate matches even when they are good. When Kash hits his big twisting flip splash it's been well set up and looks really good. This was around the time of Corino's Dusty Rhodes feud so he tries to win the match with a bionic elbow. Kash hits a baseball slide on Jack Victory on a rope running spot that sets up his comeback which was pretty cool and is subsequently ruined by Rhino's inevitable run-in and gore setting up another stolen Corino victory. This was good enough up to the finish where it should move forward.

"King of Old School" Steve Corino vs. Kid Kash (3/31/00)

This matchup seems like a hybrid Flair/Dusty vs. Ricky Morton 2.0 and they work it that way. Kash looked good here hitting his dives well bumping hard and showing lots of fire and his comeback was good too before Rhyno would take him out. I liked this match better than the Tajiri match and I think it moves forward.
