I was impressed by the out of the ring bump Funk took at his age and the spot with Brian Lee hitting the guardrail to a massive pop was awesome and made even better when Funk through him into the crowd and punched his face off. Lee's punches didn't look great in this, but the standoff spots were visually impressive. Funk murdering Lee with a piledriver on the floor was sweet and Candido bringing back the iron board so they could beat the shit out of each other with it some more ruled. This was just the right length as the intensity never wore off and Funk looked good getting the win.
October 17, 201014 yr comment_5457329 +Brian Lee v. Terry Funk Solid Nomination - FanCam 3-29-97 - I hardly recognize this Brian Lee. Watched too much SMW in a short amount of time. There wasn’t much to the match. You blink and they are on the outside hitting each other with objects and inside Funk gets a quick pin. Not a nomination.
November 15, 201014 yr comment_5458330 Terry Funk vs. "Primetime" Brian Lee (3/29/97) This had some fun brawling with Funk swinging a chair and Lee swinging an ironing board before Candido hit Lee by mistake allowing Funk to win. This was good but very short and not enough for a nomination.
