Posted August 23, 201015 yr comment_5454856 The problem with the 95 shows is I'm afraid they are going to be heavily clipped. This started with Richards in the ring with the Pitbulls engaging in a post-match beatdown on the Pitbulls and the next thing you kknow it is Raven and Ron Simmons beating up Tommy Dreamer. This leads to the first match that was taped for real which is.. Tazmaniac v. Raven Would love to tell you how this started but the camera was focused on Ron Simmons beating up Tommy Dreamer by the bar (this is from the Flagstaff which is a fairly notorious early ECW venue). By the team we get focused on the ring Raven is in control. Raven no sells a tazplex which is kinda funny and this leads to some crowd brawling which I did enjoy because the venue is really scummy and you get a tour of the grounds while they hit each other with pitchers and DDT each other on stages. In the ring this sort of blows and Paul e. leads to the finish which is ridiculous. Too Cold Scorpio v. Shane Douglas This was five minutes of stalling, five minutes of matwork/arm drag exchanges and then Scorpio throwing some bombs before Douglas steals the pin. I thought everything was well done and Douglas really emoted well but you really wanted this to be better than it was. Eddie Guerrero v. Dean Malenko I enjoyed this for what it was but I'm not sure this is really something that needs to be seen. This is basically Eddie out classing Dean and then getting caught with a flash pin and while it is done well it is probably the least impressive of their ECW matches. Cactus Jack v. Sandman Pretty meandering brawl interrupted by mic work, Dreamer abducting Woman and eventually Raven leading to a no contest. Doug Flex/Public Enemy v. Steve Richards/Pitbulls This was a total clusterfuck and not all that entertaining. Lots of prop shots. Doug Flex getting the pin made me chuckle.
