Chris Chetti v. Roadkill

I thought Chetti took some good bumps in this and Roadkill's splash at the finish looked like a real killer. This was a pretty decent opener.

Super Crazy v. Tajiri v. Little Guido

This is a rare 00 match that was better without Tajiri. Early in the match it was all about the spots and while everything looked fine it really just came across as guys getting in their shit. When Guido eliminated Tajiri he and crazy had a real good run with some cool arm submission attempts by Guido and some really good nearfalls and big spots for both guys. Pretty good stuff, but really this just made you wish that Crazy and Guido had been booked in a fifteen minute singles match.

Spike Dudley v. The Dupps

Typical Spike squash.

HC Loc/Tom Marquez v. C.W. Anderson/Billy Wiles

This was okay. By this point you almost know what every New Dangerous Alliance match is going to be spot for spot so the novelty of the spinebuster has really worn off. C.W. still looked good but these affairs are as formulaic as Crockett Era Flair.

Angel v. Masato Tanaka

Pre-match Tanaka tells Da Baldies to fuck off on the house mic which is pretty funny. Tanaka is not someone who you usually think of as a boring wrestler, but this was a pretty boring match. Post-match New Jack run-in was also lame.

Spike Dudley v. Lance Storm

God Lance Storm is just horrible beyond belief. Here he has a below average match with Spike Dudley - something I previously had thought was no possible. All of the fault for that lies on Storm's shoulders as he works as light in this as I do when my seven year old daughter wants to play wrestle. Spike tries hard and does a few cool things but having a good singles match with Lance Storm is very difficult.

Tommy Dreamer/Sandman v. Steve Corino/Jack Victory

This was just a long clusterfuck of a brawl with Sandman eventually making the save for Dreamer. Finishing spot was kind of cool but as a match this wasn't much at all.

Rhino v. Mike Awesome

Lots of big spots none of which looked that good. For hoss v. hoss matches these weren't very stiff and didn't seem special at all.
