Scott D'Amore v. Chilly Willy

This was just there. Nothing offensive or memorable.

Chris Chetti/Nova v. C.W. Anderson/Billy Wiles

Chetti and Nova were just terrible in this. There was an early stretch with Wiles where I don't know that a single one of their offensive moves connected at all. C.W. tried in this one and some of his stuff looked good but Nova and Chetti have to be one of the worst regular tag teams of all time.

Little Guido v. Simon Diamond v. Kid Kash

Pre-match Big Sal sexually assaults Simon which is..odd. Lots of goofy stuff early which is annoying me, a problem that is compounded by the really poor VQ. After Simon is eliminated there is a strange spot where Guido has Kash in a keylock and Kash breaks the hold by what appears to have been an attempted fisting. Later Kash forgets to kick out after a Russian Leg Sweep. Eventually Jazz runs out and botches a nut shot on Sal before getting kicked in the face by Guido. This sucked.

The Dupps v. Masato Tanaka/Tommy Dreamer

Pre-match Dupps beatdown of Tanaka leads to Dreamer run in. There is an edit shortly thereafter and we jump to some crowd brawling shown from a distance and Francine jiggly her tits on the apron. Eventually Dreamer gets isolated and plays FIP which is a role he's usually pretty good. He's not bad here but The Dupps have been so thoroughly buried on all of the other shows I've watched that it is hard to take this one seriously. Okay match.

Mike Awesome v. Angel

Awesome botches an attempted plancha off of Vic Grimes back which was probably ill advised in the first place. Watching this really makes me wonder how the fuck Da Baldies were around so long, though Awesome is really over in this. Another Awesome match that I'm pretty indifferent too.

New Jack v. Vic Grimes

This spilled straight over from the previous match and Jack comes walking to the ring stoically like he wants to kill someone and then I remember that New Jack legitimately does want to kill Vic Grimes. After the 100th New Jack brawl you really start to look for the little things. New Jack ringing out Grimes head with a mop wringer was amusing. At one point Grimes is running away form Jack down the stairs which again is pretty amusing. For whatever reason Gabe/RF is not following the crowd brawling on this show so when they leave the ring we get long shots of the crowd for several minutes. When they get back to the ring Grimes gets a noose of some sort and tries to hang Jack and I start to wonder if this is an SMW DVD. Grimes misses his flip and then just as they appear to go to the finish the camera goes out and when we come back...

Mikey Whipwreck v. Sabu

At the very least these two usually have matches I find entertaining so I'm hoping this will save the show. The early matwork is pretty standard stuff but then they go to a really brutal punch exchange before Sabu pops up with a springboard DDT out of nowhere. Sabu sets up a table on the floor and they brawl around it and Sabu ends up punching the shit out of Mikey some more. Mikey blocks a top rope frankensteiner and hits a good top rope lariat and top rope dropkick for nearfalls. I don't normally do play-by-play type reviews, but for some reason I felt compelled to in the early going of this. For some reason Sabu starts working the arm and then..no. Hmm. Sabu's control segment really sort of sucked and the match fell apart for me at that point. Damn.

Impact Players v. Roadkill/Danny Doring

God Lance Storm is intolerable with the stupid shooty comments during the stalling segment at the beginning of this. I actually really enjoyed the Roadkill v. Credible segment of this as Justin was bumping all over for him and Roadkill came off like a real beast as a result. Man Doring really takes the wind out of the sails of this as he is just a totally uninteresting dork and pretty much the anti-thesis of sympathetic. That's pretty much this match in a nutshell. When Roadkill is in it's good. When Doring is in it sucks.

Raven v. Steve Corino

Corino is a lot of this early on celebrating every little thing he does, bailing second Raven gets offense, and spitting on a fan who was jawing at him and then bragging about it. Raven's offense continues the trend of hate crimes/sexual abuse spots which is just odd. Again Gabe is not following the crowd brawling so we lose a good bit of the match due to bad camera angle. At one point Raven rubs his rag on his balls and uses it as a submission hold on Corino which is just stupid. There is a jump cut edit in this and suddenly Francine is in the ring kicking Corino in the balls. Man this show has sucked.

Rhino/Tajiri v. Super Crazy/Sandman

I'm guessing Tajiri was nursing a real injury here as he came in taped and worked very little of this match. I'm not a total Rhino hater, but he is not a guy who is going to do the heavy lifting in a match like this and thus this match sucked. Seriously Tajiri's limited run at the end of this was the only part that didn't suck.
