Posted August 25, 201015 yr comment_5454963 Chilly Willy v. EZ Money My god the bump Hamerick takes off of the Willy butt bump is utterly ridiculous. Only thing really worth mentioning here but it was insane. Bilvis Wesley v. Jerry Lynn This pretty well sucked. Wesley had a decent spot or two, but they botched a few others. Raven v. Scotty Anton Raven misses a table splash early and the match quickly becomes all about Anton working over Raven's injured foot. For whatever reason Anton seems to stumble or "fuck up" every time they go to a rope running spot. Anton ended up winning this clean after a sharpshooter which was surprising. About as compelling as it sounds. Roadkill/Danny Doring v. Da Baldies This was okay. Doring played a decent FIP and Roadkill bumped big for the interfering Diamond/Swinger tandem. The spot with Doring searching in vain for this partner was utterly fucking ridiculous considering what was going on around him, but this wasn't awful. New Jack v. Angel Total squash and beatdown from New Jack notable mostly because all of the action stayed in the ring. Kid Kash v. C.W. Anderson The opening of this is fine and I appreciate the effort they made to structure the match around arm work but some of the shit in this I really hated. The Elektra interference spot was really lame as no one in their right mind would find her hideous body attractive. They really botched a key cutoff spot. Also while Kash really tries I just don't buy him or his selling at all in this. He really is a much better heel and as a babyface he's more suited to be a pure spot monkey or a guy working speed v. power matches. This wasn't as bad as I'm making it sound, but it wasn't good either. Simon Diamond/Johnny Swinger v. Chris Chetti/Nova This was boring which is actually a step up for Chetti and Nova and the norm for Simon Diamond. Just a nothing doing match. Little Guido v. Mikey Whipwreck Pre-match Mikey plays with fire at a ringside table. I was hoping against hope that this would save the show, but instead it was a virtual squash of Mikey, followed by a Sal E. beatdown, a Balls save and then Balls getting his ass kicked. Boy this show is bad so far. Tommy Dreamer/Sandman v. Rhino/Justin Credible I was actually starting to enjoy this when Corino ran-in and cut off the flow of the match dead in its tracks. Than Tajiri ran in and did some cool shit. Than sorry ass Scotty Anton ran in. RVD than runs in. Someone gets pinned. What the fuck. Tajiri v. Steve Corino I thought there were some really cool spots in this one but at the end of the day this wasn't given enough time to develop the way it should have. Still easily the best match on a piss poor show.
