You get your mid-match dance off with Tracy and Meanie. You get your Big Don interference. You get your Nova "whoopie!" dive. I continue to be as entertained by these matches as ever and I like the setting here as this is a small show in Louisiana and the crowd seems to really be antagonized by Rich and Smothers antics (also at one point Rich chases after Gabe which is amusing). The payoff for Rich's shit talking is a nasty bump off the apron though of course he gets it back by assisting in the FBI's win with the flagpole shot putting an end to the Meanie house of fire. Another typically good match for these two teams. Chris Chetti v. Mike Lozansky Considering who this was, this was better than it should have been. Standard workrate sprint but decent. Justin Credible v. Jerry Lynn The highlight of this was Nicole Bass jawing with an eight year old. Not that the match was terrible, but this sort of got away from the Credible formula early and it never really caught my interest after that. Credible match with out tons of big bumps early pretty much has no shot. Jack Victory/Rod Price v. Spike Dudley/Tommy Dreamer This started as Dreamer v. Victory but Price interfered so Spike was drafted to help Tommy. This is clipped at least a bit during the crowd brawling. Spike takes some big bumps in this and Dreamer plays FIP off of a nut bump from Lance Wright. I continue to be shocked at how good Jack Victory looks as he was solid brawling and took at least one really sharp bump in this himself. This was okay. Lance Storm v. Chris Candido This was just spot after spot after spot. I actually was fairly impressed with this even though it's not my style as the spots were all executed clean and some of them were pretty cool. Somehow Francine ends up "pinning" Storm for the finish. Balls Mahoney v. Masato Tanaka This opens up with grappling exchanges which was really unexpected. This had some clipping in it so it's hard to tell how much is missing. As it stood it was a slightly more subdued version of their standard match. The work was good, but with two other matches nominated and this one being clipped, I see no reason to pass this through. Sabu v. Mikey Whipwreck Like Tanaka, Sabu is not wearing tights which means someone pulled a rib or somebodies luggage got lost. This was sloppy as fuck presumably because Sabu didn't have any boots. If anything it was shocking they hit the number of spots they did. Sandman v. D-Von Dudley This was really a nothing match.
