This is pretty much the standard match for these two teams. You get your great Tommy Rich mic work. You get your mid-match dance off with Tracy and Meanie. You get your Big Don interference. You get your Nova "whoopie!" dive. I continue to be as entertained by these matches as ever and I like the setting here as this is a small show in Louisiana and the crowd seems to really be antagonized by Rich and Smothers antics (also at one point Rich chases after Gabe which is amusing). The payoff for Rich's shit talking is a nasty bump off the apron though of course he gets it back by assisting in the FBI's win with the flagpole shot putting an end to the Meanie house of fire. Another typically good match for these two teams.

The Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido & Tracy Smothers) vs. The Blue Meanie & Super Nova (9/3/98)

 

This is a small venue they are at but they are red hot for the FBI here which was great and they were on fire with their schtick. This was a very satisfying match as you got everything you would want in a match between these teams plus a little extra such as Rich chasing Sapolsky around and I agree with Dylan for a low-end pick. This was really fun.
