They are working heel here and they really do a great job building heat on Chetti who I usually find totally unsympathetic. To his credit, Chetti does a good job eating some pretty big offense. I actually thought Spicolli was the worst guy in this, though his DVD on Balls was pretty epic. Fun little tag, albeit with questionable pacing. Little Guido v. Cody Michaels Michaels is one of those random guys that was only in ECW for a cup of coffee, but I remember really liking at the time based on his handful of tv appearances. Well this certainly wasn't much. They work a quick little back and fourth match but neither guy looked all that sharp and the crowd shit all over it. Too bad. Corporal Punishment v. Spike Dudley And I thought the last match was random. Punishment hits a sit out powerbomb on Spike and celebrates like he's just won the Super Bowl. I had expected Spike to beat this guy in two seconds but instead he is taking insane guardrail bumps and selling his ass off. Punishment is hysterical as he totally looks like a fish out of water in ECW and the crowd is letting him have it. Spike ends up with his nerd kid spazz offensive run and the crowd goes pretty nuts for it. They botch the finish, but this was surprisingly entertaining. Bad Crew v. Gangstas The fuck? Is this the ECW B-Crew show? In all seriousness I love the Bad Crew and have already seen one goo Gangstas v. bad Crew match so I'm sort of excited for this. Sadly i was disappointed as this was a really minimalistic Gangstas clusterfuck. Rob Van Dam v. Raven Wow I had no clue these guys ever worked each other. This was pretty much a trainwreck, but at times it was entertaining. For a lack of a better way of putting it, they did a good job throwing each other through stuff. They take turns throwing each other through a wall for example. Also Raven tosses Van Dam so hard into the guardrail that it collapses and I liked the table spot. Actually most of the stuff outside of the ring was at least tolerable, but almost everything they did in the ring looked bad, was stupid or went nowhere. Having said that, half a good match was more than I had expected. Sabu v. Bubba Dudley Really sort of amusing to watch Bubba treat Sabu as a bitch, ignoring his shoot and punking him for the first several minutes of this. Once Sabu goes on offense this becomes a mess as it is obvious they aren't on the same page. They blow several spots and the match generally lacks any flow until Sabu hits it's dive and by that point it's too late to salvage. D-Von Dudley v. Tommy Dreamer I must say that Dreamer's charisma is capable of making otherwise pedestrian brawls more entertaining than they should be. This is worked at a breakneck pace and features all of the staples of the Dreamer brawl. D-Von holds up his end well and the finish with Sign Guy sliding the chair into the ring in perfect place for the DDT was pretty well done. Fun match. Post-match the Dudz destroy Dreamer, Sandman, Beulah and Gangstas. Eliminators v. Pitbulls v. Brian Lee/Shane Douglas Holy shit this is boring as piss and goes on forever. Just a total pile of shit. I don't think there was a single decent thing in this.
