Mikey Whipwreck v. Dirt Bike Kid

I liked this pretty good, but it didn't blow me away. Kid took a crazy bump early off of a dive and I thought Mikey was really sharp on offense. Overall the match had too much of a modern indy feel for me, but it certainly wasn't bad.

Axl Rotten v. Devon Storm

Beginning of this is ridiculous as Axl has stuffed a bunch of shit into his shirt and is trying to hide it from the ref. Ref finds something but Axl somehow obstructs a frying pan. Storm goes to tee off on him and throws a punch to the ribs and hits the pan and then Axl decks him with the pan in the head. Pretty funny actually. I actually liked this a good bit. Storm's flippy shit was presented as do or die all match long and Axl's interactions with him and Kane were pretty cool. There were some big bumps and the big offense looked good. Finish was definitive.

El Puerto Ricano v. Taz

Squash of Ricano. Only one crazy bump :(

Too Cold Scorpio/Sandman v. Blue Meanie/Super Nova/Big Guido/Sal Bellemo/J.T. Smith (EXTRA)

Comedy gauntlet match. "BWO" are wearing their KISS garb and the FBI is hilarious so I was really entertained. Just a long angle really but J.T. kissing people in the crowd and his banter with Richards on the mic makes it pretty damn funny. Also Scorp gets to run through all of his offense which never hurts.

Johnny Smith/Steve Richards v. Too Cold Scorpio/Sandman

This is a mess at times, but I liked it anyhow. Smith's deep powerslam was half a botch and Sandman needed Scorp's help to climb the ropes for a legdrop was ridiculous, but they were both cool spots. Smith and Scorp exchanges were fun.

Bubba Dudley v. Louie Spicolli

I thought this swung back and fourth between being pretty brutal and being really weak. Bubba's bump to the floor, some of the early punches and the chairshots were good. Spicolli's enziguri? Not so much.

Rob Van Dam v. Hack Myers

I really liked this. I hadn't expected Hack to get much of this, but Van Dam gave him enough to look credible and bumped pretty huge for him at key times. Van Dam hit some really crazy shit in this and it looked good. His crowd moonsault was particularly impressive. I also really liked Hack's bumping and selling for Van Dam's stuff as when it was time to make his comeback it still felt like Van Dam's match to loose. Myers offense was typically sharp and Van Dam countering a suplex with the fisherman's buster, followed by some nasty neckbreaking offense was a good finish. For two guys that were clearly on a different level kayfabe wise, this was a very well put together match.

Shane Douglas, Brian Lee, Perry Saturn & John Kronus Tommy Dreamer, Pitbull #2, New Jack & Mustafa (Elimination Match)

Boy this sucked. Long ass Elimination match with very little in the way of psych and virtually no good wrestling. Just a real nightmare.

Chris Jericho v. Sabu

Hmm. On the one hand I thought a lot of this sucked and I thought the pacing was total garbage. On the other hand after Jericho gets his face smashed to shit they hit some really cool crazy shit and I thought the big dives and bumps came across as beautiful disasters. Jericho fucking kicks Sabu hard as shit in the face and spikes him on his head brutally with a top rope butterfly suplex. Finish looked stiff too.
