Tommy Dreamer v. Little Guido

J.T. Smith mic work is pretty amusing. I really liked this match. Tommy gives Guido a lot and this basically becomes Tommy v. Guido and the annoying J.T. Smith who keeps provided just enough of a distraction to keep Tommy from taking over. Guido looks effective on offense and Tommy's rage filled beatings of J.T. and Guido when it's his turn on offense are pretty good too. Not great or a must see, but good with a clever finish.

El Puerto Ricano v. Super Nova

I liked their match from the Arena which was basically a brief collection of fun highspots. This one was a disaster. Neither guy looked good with Pablo botching shit and Nova looking loose as fuck.

Mikey Whipwreck v. Taz

Pretty much the same match from the week before with Taz being just as blah and Mikey trying in vain.

Pitbulls v. Eliminators

Saturn's lionsault being reversed into a powerslam toss by Pitbull 2 was pretty cool. Other than this pretty much sucked. A few okay spots but no flow.

Gangstas v. Sabu/Too Cold Scorpio

Man this sucked too. There was a wild brawling part that was out of camera range and a good powerbomb but the rest of this was terrible. Only good thing about it was that it led too...

Too Cold Scorpio v. Sabu

Scorp suckers him and starts unloading his offense for nearfalls immediately. Then Sabu unloads his spots for a collection of nearfalls. This is sort of worked in reverse from the match the week before, but they do a good job with the big spots and executing teases. Big problem with this is that there is a non-finish when Scorp just walks out after Sabu tumbles through a table. Too bad.

Shane Douglas v. Raven

This had sound psych with the story being Douglas bad arm v. Raven's bad leg and both guys attacking the weaknesses of each other. The problem is that both of these guys are total black holes as workers and it is almost impossible to feel sympathy or interest in what they are doing here. Just not the right guys for a match of this sort. Probably not the right setting either.
