Dory & Terry Funk, & Tiger Mask II vs. Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy, Chavo Guerrero, & Billy Robinson (10/21/85)

That's a helluva gaijin team. Gordy looks good earlier showing his mobility hitting a big dropkick and a reverse cross body block off the ropes on Dory. I like the Terry/Billy arguments with Dory trying to be peacemaker. The dueling Japanese rolling leg roll clutches by Terry & Chavo was awesome. Chavo & TM II would have a fun exchange before Gordy tags in and he is awesome here selling for Dory before he tags in Robinson and we get a fun little section with them featuring a sweet reverse neckbreaker by Billy. There was a cool spot where the Funks press slamed TM II off the top rope on Gordy for a nearfall before he would take Robinson out with a slingshot plancha to the floor that would actually lead to Robinson being counted out. This was a total anticlimatic finish to a fun little match.

Animal Hamaguchi & Yoshiaki Yatsu vs. Takashi Ishikawa & Jumbo Tsuruta (6/21/85)

I haven't commented on this yet but Hamaguchi's hair is glorious here, what a fuckin helmet of hair. This really doesn't get kicking until Jumbo & Yatsu get into a slapfight getting the Budokan crowd going with Jumbo taking him down with a wakigatame then along with Ishikawa they work over Yatsu before Jumbo misses a running high knee and gets planted by a Yatsu backdrop suplex. Hamaguchi tags in and hits a big neckbreaker drop but Jumbo would fire back with a high knee and now they work over Hamaguchi with Ishikawa getting a sasorigatame with Yatsu breaking it up. All four men brawl on the floor a little before Ishikawa works FIP although Jumbo would nail Hamaguchi with a lariat as he had Ishikawa in an airplane spin then gave him a backdrop suplex. Yatsu would then dropkick Jumbo to the floor leaving Ishikawa & Animal to fight in the ring and they had a fun exchange leading to Jumbo knocking Animal off the top rope as he was going for his diving elbow drop and Ishikawa hitting Yatsu with a slingshot plancha to the floor. All four men brawl on the floor again before Ishikawa rolls in the ring and wins by countout. This was a blast and should move forward.

NWA International Tag Titles: Genichiro Tenryu & Jumbo Tsuruta © vs. The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) (6/5/85)

Now this should be something as the Roadies have squashed everyone so far but that won't happen here. Tenryu isn't taking shit early as he deadweights Hawk on a slam attempt and hits them back as hard as he gets hit. This then turns into a wrestling match with the Roadies working headlocks until Jumbo starts bringing the high knee and the lariat leading to a big backdrop suplex on Hawk before tagging in Tenryu. Animal came in and Tenryu worked him over with an enzuigiri and the tide turned so Precious Paul jumped up on the apron and used a steel chair on Tenryu who was climbing up top for the DQ. The brawl continued after the match as Tenryu got destroyed and the Roadies celebrated.

PWF Heavyweight Title: Giant Baba © vs. Rusher Kimura (6/21/85)

This wasn't very good but the post-match was fun of course with Budokan loving Rusher's promo.
