Jerry Lynn v. Taka Minchinoku

I really wish that Lynn would have kept going with working Taka's leg here, but I still think this was a really sweet sprint. Lots of big bombs in this one. Rana's all looked great and tons of the spots looked really impressive and had tons of snap. I thought Taka's vault dive and Lynn's dropkick to the floor and subsequent splash into the crowd were the spots of the match, but there was a ton of neat stuff in this. What made this to me was the reaction to the big spots from Taka, as he seemed to keep things more interesting than just "look another move!" Loved his finger waiving after a nearfall and thought his ring positioning in this one was really brilliant at times. Also loved the finishing run more than I should have as you knew the cradle piledriver was coming.

Pablo Marquez/Tajiri v. El Mosco Del Merced/Super Crazy

Really pissed this was cut short, as I thought it was awesome while it lasted. Crazy getting spiked on his head by Marquez who then hit a running vault hilo over the post was incredible. Then shortly thereafter they did some sort of injury angle and Marquez was replaced by...

Tajiri/Spike Dudley v. El Mosco Del Merced/Super Crazy

This was really good to for the most part. The big spots in this were just a lot of fun. I thought Merced and Crazy cowering from Spike was a cool way to start this one. Spike taking the back body drop onto the heels leading to the big Tajiri Asai into the crowd was really cool. Then it was topped by the heels who hit their own Asai into the crowd, which was followed up by a running Crazy hilo into the crowd. Spike ends up as FIP which is a role he is good at and I thought Merced flipping around like a dick after every move was cool as was Crazy/Merced's teased toss of Spike into the crowd. They fuck up the spot that sets up the hot tag and the finish seemed rush, but this was still good stuff. Shame they couldn't have stuck with the Marquez match though.

Tommy Dreamer v. Lance Storm

This was okay. Pretty much their average match though I don't think Dreamer was as fired up as normal and the girls seemed like an even bigger focus of this match than normal. Finish looked pretty nasty though.

Skull Von Krush v. Danny Doring

Krush's charisma made the early part of this fairly entertaining. Also his punches looked really good. When Doring took over on offense this got boring real fast. Okay match.

New Jack v. Balls Mahoney

Exactly what you would expect. Both guys bled like fucking crazy. New Jack hit a really insane balcony dive. Balls won with a stiff nutcracker suite. Decent for what it was.

Bubba Dudley v. Rob Van Dam

This is ten minutes of Bubba stiffing Van Dam with stuff and then a brief Van Dam comeback and then a huge clusterfuck with a bunch of people coming out. Van Dam took Bubba's offense really well but it was bizarre seeing RVD get pinballed and do so little for so much of this.
