Posted September 3, 201015 yr comment_5455302 This was really good to for the most part. The big spots in this were just a lot of fun. I thought Merced and Crazy cowering from Spike was a cool way to start this one. Spike taking the back body drop onto the heels leading to the big Tajiri Asai into the crowd was really cool. Then it was topped by the heels who hit their own Asai into the crowd, which was followed up by a running Crazy hilo into the crowd. Spike ends up as FIP which is a role he is good at and I thought Merced flipping around like a dick after every move was cool as was Crazy/Merced's teased toss of Spike into the crowd. They fuck up the spot that sets up the hot tag and the finish seemed rush, but this was still good stuff. Shame they couldn't have stuck with the Marquez match though.
October 21, 201014 yr comment_5457495 El Mosco Del Merced/Super Crazy v. Tajiri/Spike Dudley Low End Nomination - FanCam 4-24-99 - OK, help me out here, Tajiri’s partner is not Spike Dudley. Still, the member of Grupo La Sombra has a sweet rana. He also gets taken out by a combo missile kick – powerbomb. Either the guy was really injured or it was an injury angle and now Spike comes to the ring. Still, good spotfest so far. Man, Spike pumps the decibel level up to ten. After some flippy shit by Merced, Spike just grabs his head and pounds it against the mat. He follows it up with a huge dive outside. Damn, too much action but it calls for multiple guys getting taken out by Crazy leaps. However, in the ring, Tajiri is in control and hits his big spots and nasty kicks. Outside, the ring, the Mexicans are king. Nice ending beginning with the Mexicans attempting to take out Spike like the poor guy earlier but this time, they miss and the faces get the win. I thought the whole thing was entertaining as hell and think it is an easy nomination.
November 26, 201014 yr comment_5458723 Spike Dudley & Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Mosco de la Merced & Super Crazy (4/24/99) Tajiri's original partner is Pablo Marquez who gets taken out of the match early so Spike takes his place but Pablo was looking good early and probably got hurt on that insane dive to the floor. Spike brings a totally different style here as he is not one of the flashy guys but he can still do the spots while bringing a brawling game with him. This had lots of crazy dives and featured Spike as the FIP which was always good and just as good here was Merced jumping around like a dick after almost every move. Then we get a really fun stretch run before the finish which there was a little flub but it was still a blast. Easy nomination.
