Posted September 4, 201015 yr comment_5455323 Aside from maybe the Smothers match I liked a lot, this is the best Snow match so far. This was a very well structured match with Snow cheapshotting Jerry early, Lynn coming back with some really fiery offense, and Snow cutting him off well. Lynn took some really good bumps in this and I thought Snow was really good building the heat on Lynn slowly but surely. Pace was sort of up and down, but I really thought Snow did a good job working the head gimmick without letting it take over the match. Really enjoyed some of the cutoff and comeback spots here, especially Lynn's rana out of a second powerbomb attempt and an early spot with Lynn trying to go for a victory roll and getting drilled with a Snow Plex for his trouble. Lynn's comeback with the big dive was pretty cool and I thought down the stretch that did a good job of keeping it away from "your turn, my turn." There were a few really contrived spots involving a chair and this was probably needlessly long (a problem with lots of Snow matches), but overall this was a good showing from both guys who sort of excelled here at things they normally don't excel at.
November 3, 201014 yr comment_5457948 Al Snow v. Jerry Lynn Low End Nomination - FanCam 10-25-97 (3:20 hr on the disc) - Man, I love how this started off with no stalling and all attack mode. Once Snow gets the advanteg, I think I enjoyed this more than the Smothers match. By this point, chairs make ne numb but realy smart chair spots midway through. Snow is playing this really smart and talking to the head occasionally but not letting it overwhelm the action. Oof, I wish Snow had more room to land outside because his flip outside looked like a tight squeeze. IT affects the match later on as a baseball slide also looks awkward. I like how the chair was Snow’s friend early on but was used against him late in the match. The fact he held the chair to his head bothered me though. Still, this didn’t have any major botches and had a really fun stretch run where I had no idea which guy was going to win. I know Dylan called it low-end but I think this is a really solid pick for the set.

This was a very solid all-action match with both men looking really good keeping the match moving at a good pace and hitting their moves well. I agree with Will as the stretch run was well done and as soon as you thought Snow had it, he didn't. Solid match and moves forward.
